The Sea
by compound complex inthe sea once held this youngster's heart within its mighty bosom.i loved and cherished the sea, stretching outward beyond infinity.
i took to the e'er dreary landscape, the dank surroundings soothing me, enveloping me in crawling mists that were more welcomed to me than the evaporating rays of a cavorting summer sun.i, however, am no longer that pensive lad who found comfort in the dark and cold and deep blue sea.
today, a man in the physical sense, i no longer possess that childlike fascination with my former abode.

Witness 007---yes always be first in the water. Of course, didn't Jesus get baptized in a river...who knows what was in that water.
See the letter dated 8 March 2008: "Baptizing Individuals Who Have Communicable Diseases" as referred to in paragraph 28 of the 'Circuit Organization Guidelines' (S-330) above.

The problem with candidates, especially, wet white t-shirts don't hide much.
haha yes, unless.....

These are the guidelines for the ones DOING the baptism - the 'dunker' - and NOT the actual baptism candidates - as per Thisismein1972's question that I was replying to.
See the second sentence in paragraph 25.
I would take it to mean a white t-shirt (or may be white button shirt, short of long sleeved) and probably white shorts.
These guidelines - as can be seen from the instructions later in that same paragraph - are obviously for a pool baptism when everyone is in actual the water - NOT for a cattle trough style baptism.
Guidelines for the actual baptism guidelines are along the following linesKIngdom Ministry June 1993, page 3
Question Box: What would be considered proper attire when presenting oneself for baptism?

Hi Thisismein1972!
Another issue here. Are the "dunkers" now instructed to wear black?
No, according to the 2010 edition of the 'Circuit Organization Guidelines' (S-330), the opposite would appear to be the case - instruction is white.
See paragraph 25 (sorry, scans only in Spanish)

I was told that it was not international because only 4 or 5 countries were invited, Brazil, Cuba, U.S, and Guyana.
Seems WT are doing a 'rolling' program of these special conventions with people from half-a-dozen or so countries being invited to each one.
Apart from the currently used website at www.jw2016.org WT also owns
