Timeline:
1990:
While attending a Spanish-speaking congregation in Brussels, Belgium, Miguel Garcia - then aged 16 - alleges that he was sexually abused/attacked by a man 'A' (a brother in good standing in the congregation) ie it was NOT consensual and Miguel Garcia was an 'unwilling participant'.1993:
Now in Spain, Miguel Garcia - then aged 19 - approached the elders in his congregation regarding his allegation of sexual abuse/attack that took place in Belgium three years earlier and a Judicial Committee was set up for the man 'A' for which Miguel Garcia cooperated and gave details - apparently others had made similar allegations regarding the same man 'A'.2011:

In April 2014 Miguel Garcia wrote to the CONGREGATION he was last associated with and requested the destruction all his records and data INCLUDING the summary notes recording his allegations of sexual abuse/attack against 'A' (ie the 'Do Not Destroy' Envelopes)2016:
In a newspaper article in September 2016 Miguel Garcia complained the records of his allegations of sexual abuse/attack against 'A' have apparently not been destroyed by the congregation despite his earlier request.By the end of 2016, Miguel Garcia had a change of heart and now does not want the records of his allegations of sexual abuse/attack against 'A' to be destroyed, but rather he now wants a copy of them for himself.
2017:
On Monday 9 January 2017 Miguel Garcia writes a letter to the BETHEL in Spain requesting a copy of all the records and data that they hold on him at each of the congregations he has been associated with - he gives them SEVEN days to provide this information.On Monday 16 January 2017 Miguel Garcia visits the Bethel in Spain in person and asks for his records, they do not provide them, and he walks away empty handed.
On Monday 16 January 2017, following the above and by prior arrangement, Miguel Garcia has a 40 minute meeting with a member of the Spainish Government's Congress of Deputies with whom he lodges his official complaint regarding the Bethel not providing him with copies of his record of allegations of sexual abuse/attack against 'A' and other data/information they hold on him. By law, the government has 30-days to respond - ie by Wednesday 15 February 2017. In addition to the above, Miguel Garcia also lodges an official complaint with the Guardia Civil / Police.
Today Thursday 23 February 2017 - over five weeks have passed now and apparently no update on this thread yet???....

MLGW - Board of Light, Gas and Water Commissioners
Meeting Minutes - 6 February 2014Mr. Jason Small addressed the Board noting he has been employed at MLGW for seventeen years and had not received any reprimands or discipline. He stated in the last four years he has undergone three wrist surgeries due to an injury on the job. After the last surgery, he was given a letter stating that he would not be able to work in his position due to a permanent restriction of heavy lifting. He stated he took the letter to the MLGW employee health nurse and was told he must leave immediately and would be contacted by Human Resources. He stated after three weeks he had not received a call from the HR Department, so he contacted them. During the call he stated he was told he had twelve months to find a job within the company for which he was qualified. He contacted HR regarding an open position for an Inspector in Revenue Protection. He stated he was told it was not MLGW policy or procedure to place bargaining unit employees in those type positions. He was later placed in a position which he described as stressful and is addressing the Board to make them aware of his situation. He noted he is knowledgeable in many areas of MLGW's business and wants to continue working at MLGW.

And actually it just looks like he's asking for a job with similiar work hours / shift patterns as his original job - as MLGW is a large company they should be able to find him suitable employment, but according to him they haven't.
And the OP story states that the Department of Justice has already reviewed the case and believes it has merit to proceed: “Small has the right to institute a civil action under the Civil Rights Act of 1964."

It's a big problem, missed appointments - both with the local GP/Doctor and at the Hospital.
One problem I think is when you get appointments months and months in advance for a six-monthly or annual check-up.
I think one way that it is being dealt with is by sending reminder SMS's to the patient's cell phone - but what should the message actually say??
A zero cost way to reduce missed hospital appointments

Around 1 in 10 hospital outpatient appointments are missed every year in England. Missed appointments can lead to worse patient care and waste NHS resources. Many hospitals send patients a text message reminder before their appointment. These reminders are effective and cheap, but there is no evidence about what they should contain in order to minimise missed appointments.
A randomised controlled trial tested the content of appointment reminders. The best form of words, which told the patients the specific waste to the NHS of not attending, reduced missed appointments by 23% compared to the standard message.
This is an easy innovation for the NHS to apply. Cutting missed appointments at this rate across England’s hospitals could increase NHS productivity.
