During my stay in Saudi Arabia, I have had the opportunity to buy a cassette released by the erstwhile British pop-singer and the present Muslim preacher, Yusuf Islam (formerly Cat Stevens). I learnt a lot from this as well.”

the city of key west has reached an agreement to settle a federal lawsuit brought by a former city bus driver who claimed religious discrimination fueled his firing after he refused to work during the nudity-filled fantasy fest.. bobby walker jr. sued the city march 3, 2016, nearly three months after the equal employment opportunity commission dismissed his claim over his firing.
he accused his bosses of mocking his religious beliefs and making derogatory comments about his race before firing him from the $13-an-hour job in retaliation when he complained.

Key West to settle religious discrimination suit by former bus driver
The city of Key West has reached an agreement to settle a federal lawsuit brought by a former city bus driver who claimed religious discrimination fueled his firing after he refused to work during the nudity-filled Fantasy Fest.
Bobby Walker Jr. sued the city March 3, 2016, nearly three months after the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission dismissed his claim over his firing. He accused his bosses of mocking his religious beliefs and making derogatory comments about his race before firing him from the $13-an-hour job in retaliation when he complained.

Pretoria resident says - before high court in South Africa - he is the anointed one !
by ZAPPA-ESQUE inpretoria [ south africa] - an unusual urgent application served before the gauteng high court this week,in which a lyttelton manor resident, who said he is was known as the “anointed one” among jehovah’s witnesses, asked the court to officially swear him in as the worldwide leader of the organisation.. ernest gericke, in papers before the court, told judge bill prinsloo that the “first business of the christ is the legal establishment of the kingdom of god on earth, known as the jehovah’s kingdom.” .
gericke said this involved the the conducting of a covenant for a kingdom, which is to take place on april 11. .
“in order to effect the legal requirements for the kingdom this honourable court is requested to hear the public oath of the office of the king.

the crowd on the street (see photo) is now inside and the gallery is packed.. yesterday jehovah's witnesses presented a written legal argument - "objections to the administrative claim of the ministry of justice of the russian federation" - to the supreme court of russia which, in paragraph 254, argued that if the ministry for justice liquidates and bans the activities of jehovah's witnesses then this will force individual members to renounce or abandon their religion for fear of persecution.. download legal argument (russian).
