Think you've pinpointed it.
(Aren't mobile sites supposed to be simpler, code-wise, etc.?)
i'm seeing tons of comments from sad jws on my facebook feed saying that the beloved golden calf jw.org is offline.. what are you seeing when you try it?
*crosses fingers* i wish it could never ever return.. are they getting too much traffic to support?.
work of hackers?

the us kingdom ministry shows the collective total 2014 memorial attendances of the countries that now comprise the us territory in 2014: 2,610,810.. those countries are: the usa, bermuda, jamaica, turks and caicos and puerto rico.. the same collective total for those same countries three years ago - 2011 - was 2,666,592.. that's a decrease of 55,782 from 2011 to 2014. i am happified.. while there has been the occasional year in which memorial attendances from one year to the next have shown decrease, this is a first: decline evident over a three-year period.. comments please!.
.
anyone have the know how on how to provide the link for the kingdom ministry download?
Can you post the numbers from each year over the past 5 years?
Also, when did the Memorial tract campaigns begin?

these are so funny ....i think i broke a rib.
Thanks for sharing.
Some great buttons.
the biggest regret i have about association with jw's is that they used me to publish their lies.. yeah.
a publisher.
think about the responsibility of a "publisher".. a publisher takes pride in bringing "truth" to the public.
That's what bothers me.
I was a very successful pioneer.
I remember using Mt. 24:34.
I also remember reasoning with people: How did they know in 1942 that the League of Nations would be revived?
Never knew that this was a rehash of the previous interpretation in the Enemies book, and that the UN was essentially started in 1940.
No internet, so they could get away with such "prophecy."
don't know quite what to say.
just stunned at the news.
comic genius and actor.. share your favorite robin williams moments.. .
Sadly, it's not surprising.
I've watched him "religiously" (Simon - don't ban me) for decades on talk shows and elsewhere.
He had a terrific sense of humour and awesome mimic skills (not Rich Little, but good).
He often spoke openly of his depression.
Most of the top comedians suffer from this dichotomy.
It is tragic.
Hopefully, whatever the next life is, he will be bringing laughter into it.
interesting quote on the back page.. "this new book has indexed every publication produced by the watch tower bible and tract society since 1930.".
(also on the cd wt library).
funny then that the life everlasting book (1966) never made it in..
The 1930-1985 Index on the 2013 WTLIB definitely has references to "li" which is the "Life Everlasting" book from 1966
Sorry, can you provide an example?
For example, if I type in "Victim twisted on cross" there is 1 result, which is what I was looking for, the Aug 15, 1987 WT.
Now, if I type in "How appropriate it would be for Jehovah God" which is par. 43, page 30 of the Life Everlasting book, it doesn't show up.

There are two noteworthy things about this book.
It, and the Impossible to Lie book, were the only ones so important that a pocket deluxe edition was made (I have them).
Second, in the famous chart on page 35, the last entry in the Chart of Significant Dates is:
1975 End of 6th 1,000-year day of man's existence (in early autumn).
Right above this entry is:
1966 Book Life Everlasting-in Freedom of the Sons of God to be released Saturday, June 25, 1966.
A book so important that it itself is in the Chart of Significant Dates of mankind's history doesn't even a few years later make it into the WT index.
did anyone catch this quote?
"over seven and a half million witnesses of jehovah really have found him and they truly love him.".
why are they no longer touting "nearly 8 million" witnesses?
Like everything else, the growth has been outsourced.
It's a lot cheaper and more effective to recruit starving Africans than affluent people.

It's red.
There are a number of threads on here about it.
there's a lot of talk right now about how stupid it is to have jws hand out leaflets with urls on them.
"why go to someone's door to tell them they can visit a web site that lets them ask for someone to come to their door?
" well, i'm sorry, but i have to weigh in with a contrary opinion here on how clever the society is.
Agreed.
Also, the post about the average JW can't sell like they should be able to.
It will be interesting to see if it generates results.
You gotta admit, no one else is going door-to-door to tell you to visit websites.
