things that make you rotate your head slightly and say whaaaaaaat.
how in the heck does the gb trick the sheeple to think that a newly baptized persons prayers are more powerful that everyone else.
maybe even stronger the self appointed god's, aka (governing body) aka ( monkey feces).

haven't been on as religiously as i should be, but i haven't seen this posted yet.. $100,000,000 for br.
mj's place.. would this not be an excellent second home for the gb?.
or, a few additional attractions to lure sophia and caleb wanna-bes?.

Or, a few additional attractions to lure Sophia and Caleb wanna-bes?
Or, maybe a secret playplace for teens: "Leo's funhouse?"
Are there not unlimited possibilities?
(Maybe MJ's estate would simply will it to WTS for "services rendered.")
i don't know where to start.
i got married a year and half ago.
some months into the marriage things where discovered.
As a male in the reverse situation, I will add the following.
WTS creates dysfunctional, loveless marriages.
You are not allowed to openly talk privately with your fiance(e).
You are young, and your only objectives and goals in life are to serve and please Jehovah (aka WTS.)
Men are told that they are superior - women are told that their role is to please the husband.
As to how as many marriages survive that do survive is an astonishing situation.
When a married couple finally realize that this will never work, then the elders perform a simple analysis: has one spouse been "weak" over the last period of time?
Then that spouse is at fault.
Not complicated.

I am somewhat surprised at the astonishment on this thread.
A corporation stolen by a lawyer, who turned it into his personal, tax-free, multiple-servant, Cadillac-chauffered, Canadian alcohol supplied during prohibition, San Diego paradise lifestyle.
We easily see through the free labour, real estate flipping facade.
WTS has volunteer lawyers, for crying out loud.
Of course, they always litigate, and always appeal any loss.
(Also watch "Going Clear" and see how the IRS caved to Scientology's strategy.)
Good webpage here: http://jwemployees.bravehost.com/
Scroll to: LITIGATION IS IN THE JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES BLOODSTREAM.
watchtower september 2015 study edition, "stand firm in the faith," paragraphs 16 and 17:.
following jesus example, we must read the bible daily, study it, and meditate on what we learn.
along with general bible study, dig into topics about which you may have questions.. you can imitate jesus by meditating on the wonderful promises jehovah has made to you.
I would rather a list of people that I do NOT want to meet (unless I am allowed to watch them be tortured):
Joseph Rutherford
Theodore Jaracz
Anthony Morris III
Nathan Knorr
...
(BTW, I would like to meet Freddie Franz, and ask him a few questions, as well as CTR, and ask him WTF he thought of his succession.)
i just found out about donotlink and thought it might be of interest to others here.
we are always talking about j w dot org and i am worried it's helping them.
is that true?.
So, if I'm reading this correctly, the more a website is commented upon by other websites, the more likely it will come up on top when you put a generic name associated with it into a search engine?
Google has an extremely complicated algorithm that it uses to boost or reduce a website's authority.
It is basic however to have good, and extensive, content - WT's multi-language strategy is brilliant.
Links from sites that use the term(s) "jehovah" "jw", etc. boost jw.borg, as do links from sites that have a high PR or a high Moz ranking. (So, yes, unless countered somehow, direct links from this site will boost jw.borg.)

You are correct, reb.
I do not know what Simon has done in this regard, and he's not saying.
I posted this:

jehovahs-witness.com still only has a PR of 2 (jehovahs-witness.net had a 3)
Moz ranks jehovahs-witness.com as a 36 (out of 100). Not terrible, but should be better, IMO.
i was thinking about green handshakes, and i knew my wife and i personally would try to slide at least $100 each c.o visit to the c.o.
if we were low on cash, we'd never hand him less than $20.
how many of such handshakes does he receive in a weeks time?
Over decades of life in the Borg, I have always respected CO's.
As a kid, they stayed at our family home when that was the custom in smaller areas.
I have nothing but fond memories of them (and outdated gift JW books with their autographs).
Today's CO's seem to me to be nothing but Borg ladder-climbers, as opposed to the oldtimer "servants."
The only exception to my past was one specific CO, who put out a feeling of surrealness, and of whose background I became aware of through interesting relationships.
He is a fellow Canadian, not a deliberate asshole, but a fully-deluded JW, with absolutely no contribution to improving humanity, his childhood amenable to cult absorption, a gorgeous, sensual wife named Linda (geez, I'll be a JW super-bro, too, to tap that), the sole person behind the present JW songfest revival,)
No different than any other corp., if you make it to the top, it's worth it, right ???

DATA-DOG: "Am I the only one who sees the irony of the WTBTS just releasing another cartoon about being bold in school??"No you're not. The thought crossed my mind a few days ago and I forgot to comment on it. Then today I came to mention it and noticed that you did.
It truly is fortuitous that that girl uploaded her video just days after the JWs' cartoon session at the K.H. about being bold at school. Who knows, maybe the timing is a sign that it's Jehovah acting to expose the JWs. lol.
Brie is not currently DF'd. She could have attended the recent meeting about children boldly witnessing. ;)
okay, i realize this should actually be in the entertainment section.. however, was watching a 2015 show (do not know if it's a rerun or not), and he has clips of news reports going back from 2015, 2014, 2013, ... to 2006, each year claiming to be "the worst allergy season ever.".
sounds very familiar..
