  How do you feel about exJW's who resist our efforts to effect change?

  i've met a few.

  i'm not talking about the jw who, whether df'd or not, falls off the radar and just gets on with living a normal life - good luck to them and may there be many more!.

  i mean the former jehovah's witness who is now enjoying all the benefits of a cult free life thanks to the efforts of many bloggers, posters and activists, but is critical of the efforts of someone close them to free more jws.

  First off - I would like to express appreciation for using "effect" instead of "affect" as I believe that English is not your first language (many of which would have posted the reverse).

  That having been said, I posted, mostly tongue in cheek, this post on reddit:

  So, yes, those who make the effort, may hopefully make their way out of the WT maze.

  However, everyone must input into the equation that WT members have been subjected to decades of mind control, and family pressure.

  Dismissing this control and pressure is hardly an overnight decision.

  there was a jw who was a born in and faded about 10 years ago near a congregation i attended.

  he never married or had children and was in his late 30's.

  his parents shun him for the most part but then he had a major stroke.

  *%#?!. When my child was molested, the elders not only told me to be quiet about it so as not to upset the congregation !!! but told me not to let anyone see that I was upset !!!

  I met an ex-Dub couple today - RP's - recently df'd for apostasy, and a third who was from the States.

  The American's sister and cousin were molested by Dubs.

  The couple both had siblings that were molested by Dubs.

  The male became MS, and was told by the BOE, so-and-so is a pedo, so-and-so is a pedo - 4 known pedos in their KH.

  I had been wondering if this was contained to the US, but it is obviously global (I'm in Canada).

  Anyone defending this corporation is as guilty as the corporation is.

  Given that this is the ONLY thread that you have started, the odds of you not being a troll are the same as WT starting to apologize for anything.

  You're trying to make it seem that Candace lost, as well as caved for money.

  CANDACE WON. CANDACE WON. CANDACE WON.

  Candace rejected settlement offers before trial.

  WT's appeal would not have been overturned, even if the Court would have allowed it.

  You're insinuating that the settlement was lower. On what basis?
