Comparing Total Numbers Baptized During the 1990s and the Last Ten Years:

sometimes, comparing raw numbers provides a more clear-cut numerical picture of growth or otherwise than percentages.

below are the numbers for peak publishers (rounded off so that 4,1 represents more than 4,100,000) for each year throughout the 1990s and those for the last ten years.. year: peak* baptisms.

No way not going to happen, yes great growth in Latin and maybe some African countries but really I don't believe they make up for the loss.

If you are in an urban Western congregation, how many African and Latino families have become members?

IMO, this is an active strategy by WT to keep their numbers from totally cratering in the West.

cleveland ohio convention results

A fair number of 2015 convention attendance and baptism were tracked here:

Ballpark was about 0.5% of attendees were baptized.

2016 numbers appeared to be about 0.4%

So far, in 2017, there appears to be slightly less than 0.4% (but not by much).

The 2018 Yearbook numbers for the west should likely show slight overall declines in average publishers.

i thought that wt would have started doing this, but i have not noticed any posts before.. can anyone confirm (post is from fb)?.

so i have been looking up these different articles to read for myself...one problem.the last time we got a disc was 2015 and i used my mil's disc to down load it to my computer.

they did a update to it last year over the internet, the program updated it's self.

The last time we got a disc was 2015 and I used my MIL's disc to down load it to my computer. They did a update to it last year over the internet, the program updated it's self. I'm not sure if the wt, awake and km where there b4 the update but they are NOT there now. There is a tone of stuff removed from 1975 back.
