i had a relative exhort me to attend sunday am of the rc, to which i said no, already read the points online.. i said that i find this decade to be the most enjoyable.. people are relaxed, people have piercings, tats, hair colour du jour, facial hair, yoga pants (okay, not so great with the people of walmart videos), etc., and no one gets a second glance.. the music is awesome, movies are pretty good.. everyone still has their trials and tribulations, bad relationships, economic swings, etc.. but i feel happy.. the posted highlights from sunday am were:.

so, we continue to face mounting challenges with 607 vs 587 (20 year differential), and the generation dying out.. therefore, after a personal (420 free - honest) research and revelation, it would appear that 587 is the correct launch date.. with respect to the 7 times, russell had been influenced by john a. brown into using a year of 360 days, when prescience would most surely indicate that at the time of discovery (2014) one would use the number of days of that respective calendar, i.e.. 365 1/4 days, an additional 5.25 days per year.. so, 7 x 5.25 = 36.75, which, using the biblical principle of rounding down, is 36 years.

Help With Legal Project - Children in Judicial Meetings

an acquaintance in canada is making a serious attempt at ending children being forced, or coerced, to attend a judicial meeting.. are there any here who had to attend such a meeting, and would be willing to contribute their feelings?.

likewise, any who were baptized as minors, but felt later that at the time of their baptism, they were not old enough to have made that decision..

i'm extremely neutral in our house, so it's not my influence - honest!.

my 11-year old is light-years advanced with his intelligence and humour.. he's going around the house singing "listen, obey, and be castrated.".

was not impressed.. pretty hard to contain my laughter..

Question for Active and Other Elders - Re: God's Blessing

the shepherd book makes reference to "evidence of god's blessing" as well as "fruits that befit repentance" when deciding the fate of a sinner.. jj did a video covering the scenario of an elder who sinned secretly, and hid it for years, but could remain an elder if certain things were true, including "evidence of god's blessing.".

i believe jj's video was making the point that this scenario was if an elder sinned before becoming an elder.. however, the shepherd book does use the terminology "if the sin occurred before he was appointed as an elder or ministerial servant...".

does not that terminology indicate that a sin that occurred after appointment could also be forgiven, and the elder could remain as such?.

do you believe that the watch tower society is the faithful and discreet slave?
