Debunking the Bible

there seems to be an endless number of ways to show the bible is not devinely inspired but all of it seems so complicated.

anyone know any simple arguements for this?

I have tacled this before but here are a few surprises no one mentioned:

1. Goshen wasn't a provance of Egypt until 641 BCE

2. Yahweh (Yahu) wasn't original to Canaan according to archeology and the biblical texts. Both confirm he came from Midian or Edom.

3. The only mention of Jesus comtempory to his life is an addition to a Jewsih historical propoganda work (Josephus) added in the middle ages.

4, There is no mention of Paul in any writings until 140CE when a guy nameed Marcion 'found' 10 letters. (There is a Saulus in the wiritings of Josephus but he is certainly not Paul.)

5. Danel is mentioned in Ezekiel NOT Daniel! Danel was a Syrian magician.

6. The descriotion of Yahweh smelling Noahs sacrifice in Genesis 8 copies WORD PER WORD from the Epic of Gilgemesh!

7. Luke and Acts are address to a 'most excellent Theopolis. The only Theopolis that ever held a great title was a Christian bishop in the 180CE. (Also the gospel of Luke copies from Marcion's gospel.)

8. There is NO palces or any renment of a palace from the 10th century Jerusalem when David and Solomon are supposed to have reined. Infact Jerusalem was a small villiage growing only during the Omride reign in the north (when it was a provance) and later 10x in 722BCE when the north fell and Israelite fled into the city. (This is taken from Israel Finkelsteins reasearch)

9. The book of Daniel contradicts 2 Kings as to who Nebachadnezzer's son was. (2 Kings is partially right)

10. There are literaly 30+ contradictions between Kings and Chronicles. Some have been listed by Fink.

religions, in general, did not inspire people to be good, because the means they used was illogicality.

for example: one religion teaches: humans became sinners through one man, and would become righteous through another man.

Pinku we have the same stance.. I am an atheist as I do not belive in the god of the bible... but if there is a [nathestic god out there... I won't speculate.... I do believe in dreams, pronminitions and cosmic forces.,,,

Serious problems with Gospel of John, and his Revelation

1) john presents a jesus who is totally different from other gospels.

2) johns claim of jesus being partial to him undermines jesuss own teaching (mathew 5:44-48).

3) johns claim of first miracle (changing the water into wine) and the last (or most spectacular) miracle of resurrecting lazarus are not known to earlier gospel writers---something impossible for them to miss!.

I think Revelation is the first book of the NT written but not that last half. Only 6-11. It deals with events in the 59-73CE time of Jerusalem's destruction. Note Jesus is hardly mentioned in those chapters..

Later in the 90s it might have had the beginning added and 12-16 added. The writer John of Patmos for all we know could have been the rebelious Jewish leader John in the Jewish war but this can't be concluded for sure. Whoever it was it was horrble greek. 17-22 are almost in the late second century from the kings list.

The Gospel of John is dependant on the Gospel of Pontius Pilate and the Gospel of Nicodemus which places John in the 100-120CE area. The other gospels came after the first being the pre-Lukan version by Marcion in 140

My wife heard it she cried (we were 6000 miles apart then)... I wasn't upset by JW doctrine..

Now althiugh she is still a JW she knows I am 'liberal'... (Oh wasit until she finds out ervs)

But she knows I disagree with alot of the conventions.. (What she doesn't know is I laugh at the fools in the cong.

i think i'm having panic attacks.
