  Having a hard time holding my tongue...

  ...recently.. i'm normally pretty calculated.

  my fade is done, my wife is out, my family and friends know, i maintain quite abit of the friendships of those closest to me jw or not, my family isn't shunning, and the few people we have kept it from for other reasons we are calculating how to break it.

  (elderly matriarch that we are simply not going to tell so she doesn't die).. but.....all these facebook meme's and stupid feeds about reliance on jehovah, distraction, staying close to his organization, persevering against satan.....its driving me nuts.

  i know many are in my same position which is comforting, but, i wish we were all in the situation where we woud all make a clean break from the BORG.

  hello all, it's been a long time since i have posted. well, things have not changed on my end. i am still going thru the motions. my wife is fully aware of how i feel about the BORG. i still go to the meeting to support her and i show her how much i love her each and everyday. i tell her all the time that she is my world.

  our Boys have no interest in the meetings...we don't answer, we don't associate with any witnesses. associate with regular folk, teach our boys to love all and not judge color, religion, sexual orientation and anything else of people.

  higher education is a must, and learning marial arts is a must.....i also do martial arts.

  anyways, i have been reading the purple bible from the borg with my wife....the best one available that has not been massacred by the cult. But, it's amazing how she just doesn't see it for what it is. and how much worship and glory the apostles gave jesus. it's almost has if her mind just clicks off.

  My question is Why? why can't the scales fall off, just has easily as they did for me or for other people.

  like i said, we go out on service very rarely, don't associate....but yet....she just can't wake. i respect her for what she believes and i don't push it. i am just showing the facts. i am just so amazed at the hold the cult has over her....she is such an apologist.

  i can't get over how many "try-harders" are going on "holidays" to countries that are under govt ban!.

  they get tourist visas to get into the countries (such as parts of asia) but are really there to preach.... .

  how dishonest!.

  good on you mate....take it slow. remember time is now on your side. always let the missus know how much you love her.

  things are going slow with my missus...she knows how i feel. i told her i support her and what ever she wants to do. so far just taking it day by day. we don't discuss anything BORG related. never did and don't and we don't associate with any witness's. and neither do our kids. this makes it easy.

  live your life or lives and have respect for eachother. this is more than what the BORG will ever give and with that you will win the war.

  i learned this past week that my wife is now awake.

  i just shared the pbs newshour segment with her with no comment other than something along the lines of, "jw story on pbs.".

  she is furious at the arrogance of these men.. thats what happens when you get a momma angry!.

  the wts struggles to survive in the 21st century, what with the internet, social media, instant communication, instant video, instant music, instant porn, er, not that i'd know anything about that last one... but anyhoo.... as they struggle to keep the young ones indoctrinated, they've finally realized that sitting in wt meetings four days a week, and knocking on doors at least once a week is not appealing to millennials, and with all the new technology at their fingertips, it doesn't take but a couple of clicks of a mouse to find enough disturbing info on the wts to encourage them to fade away.. so what to do?

  well, if you can't beat em, join em.

  after years of demonizing the internet, televangelists, showboating religious leaders, and discouraging anything that could lead a person to question their authority, they finally figured out they can't beat em.
