  i believe the people who give are guilted sub conciously into giving money.

  when i was the accounts person...i saw people giving money that i knew full well could not afford it,

  if they only knew, they would ask for every red cent they donated back.

  i tell my son's all the time that knowledge is power and a degree from college is something no one can ever take from you!

  when i tell them the knowledge is power, and that's why the watchtower doesn't want people to go to college, because they don't want people to be empowered..

  i got my degree, EE. i wasn't a witness, but even if i was....i would have gotten one anyways.

  The Exodus confirmed..

  for those of you that don't research this stuff i will give a little back story.

  we all know about the moses exodus, but history and archeology didn't seem to confirm this event.

  the only exodus out of egypt ever recorded was that of a group of asiatic tribes that had taken over egypt for a bit over 100 years called the hyksos and the followers of the pharaoh akhenaten who perpetuated a monotheistic idea of worshiping only one deity the aten.

  the problem here is that it is all pure speculation. I need hard facts to believe that the israelites were in egypt, the egyptians chronicalled everything.

  so why would they not chronical this? litterally they say that millions of people were exciled. thatS like saying 2 million people leave new york, right now. don't you think this would be big news? it would be written about right? once it is written, then is made a historical event.

  i think that 80% of jws do not truly believe in what they are taught .

  the vast majority stay in because of family, friends, ignorance and a lack of caring about any of the facts regarding the "truth".

  to me, i don't care who believes 100% or not. all that matters are my son's and both believe 0% of what the BORG teaches.

  has for my wife......she believes 100%! she will die for the BORG. and guess what, i don't give a rats ass if she died for the borg, if she left me for the borg, nope....she could have it and shove it up her arse!!!!!!!!

  if it's not the same guy, that is great.

  best thing to do is.....nothing at all. get the suit and put it at the bottom of the drawer. and move on.

  he may have had good intentions, but just miss directed with his brainwashed mind.

  is this the same elder that is paying your wife special attention and texting her? if so...i would i would do two things.

  1. tell your wife that she needs to put him in his place. if she can't do this.

  2. go to him yourself and put him in his place.

  to me this is B.S.. nip it in the butt, ASAP!
