Why So Many Young People Are Leaving The Watchtower

i have been giving a lot of thought to the young people who are leaving the watchtower organization in recent years.

last night, i was reading the thread posted by jwfacts a while back in which he provided some statistics and graphs showing the rapidly declining growth in the watchtower.

one factor that was discussed at length was the high number of young people who do not stay in the organization.

when we got involved in 2008 our older son was 9 or 10 and younger son was 4 or 5.

The other kids were A-holes to our boys. Although my wife would never defend our son's she always

stuck up for the other kids.

This Cult has nothing to offer kids except for fear.

at the age of 12 or 13 my older son told me he thought it was all shite and didn't want anything to do with the

cult. shortly after I stopped going. I remember my younger son went with the wife a few times and one day at the age of 10 he called me and told me to pick him up from the hall. He told me he is never going back.

Yes, Both boys are now 22 and 17 and free thinkers. My wife barely talks with them and me. She is such an outstanding wife, a great example of what a wife and mother should not be.

Wow, not sure how much longer I could stay in this marriage.

Bottom line is, young ones stay in due to fear. Just all the other sheeple who stay in. FEAR, Obligation and Guilt

LOL, this is so funny on so many levels.

When the pandemic started, my wife and so other

brain washed dubs started a wed evening book study.

I told her that they couldn't do it and it would be stopped.

she said why? I said the BORG doesn't like people to get

together and study without.

She scoffed and said NO!

I said okayyyyyyy. Well it did stop after a while and now i know why.

I would like to get some feed back from POMO's who's spouse is still PIMI.

Since Myself and our son's left the JW cult. My wife has been M.I.A has a mom and a wife. Ours Son's don't really have a connection to her. In fact our youngest son's said he doesn't consider her a mom and our older son just doesn't care.

In reality she doesn't care about us. More often then not she just spends her time in our bedroom ignoring us. And When she isn't all she does is bitch at the boys and always finds an excuse to be angry with me.

I have told her many times that if she is not happy she should leave and go find her JW elder so she could be happy.

As a wife she has no love, Very heartless.

She wasn't always like this for 19 years everything was good. in 2008 got involved and in 2013 me and the boys left. I was hoping she would leave with us. But, no...The cult had to strong of a strangle hold on her. You see once we joined the cult I saw a change and when we left that change was worse.

I have noticed she lives in fear. I don't think she sleeps good because she is always afraid of the end to come. I think she thinks if she sleeps that the end will come and she will not be ready. What a mind screw.

None of her fleshy sister or brother are JW's. It was just her and her mom. Her mom died a brainwashed witness. It also seems that when her mom died she became worse.

I wish i had my old wife back, but that train left the station. I just don't know when to say that's it and move on and leave her to her cult. I have worked so hard all my life to give her a good life. This sucks so much.

but, it dawned on me that once again there is hidden proof that the witness cult is and anti-christ cult.

Bottom line is, I believe it's all fairytales. Just like the lord of the rings or the hobbit.

History is history, While the Israelites were in the desert. The Chinese and other lands were creating there own history. Who's right? who's wrong? not sure I care.

This religion has stole so many peoples minds and destroyed families and marriages.

So for this reason I hate this religion and all other religions.

And if there is a God or a Creator. He or she doesn't give a crap about us and/or has his/hers favorite individuals whom they choose to bless.

With all due respect Disillusioned JW, They are still twisting their words. If your a christian religion, then honor christ in all things. They do this because 1. they have to be different then other religions, so they could tell the congragants. " see were no part of the world". 2. They are an anti-christ religion, they do nothing to honor christ just like changing the AD and BC and they reject him in the memorial.

But, in the end. This cult has turned me off about religion and even to the point of wondering if there is a god. and if there is. he sure has hell doesnt care about us and has his favorites. Tell me that there is no denying Tom Brady is one of his favorites? A super Star, super model wife, money up the arse and handsome.

i am not saying all jw congregants are pessimistic, but i would go as far to say all pimi jw congregants are pessimistic.. why do i say this, my wife is my measuring stick.

she has barely an optimistic bone in her being.

she will only focus on the bad parts of anything.

I would even go as far to say, I believe my wife prays each day for this system of things to end. She told my son not to long ago that she hopes Armagedon comes soon. I told my son:

Me: you know what she is telling you right.

Son: No what is she saying.

Me: Since me, you and your brother are not in the cult. She is hoping Armagedon comes and destroys us.

so in other words she hopes you die soon.

Son: WTF is wrong with her.

Me: Well son that is cult mind control, she is not the same mom we had before getting involved in this cult.

I have told my wife that everyday the sun comes up, that is one more day that proves your cult a liar.

Why do I say this, my wife is my measuring stick. she has barely an optimistic bone in her being. She will only focus on the bad parts of anything. I have missed out on so many opportunities in our life together due to her pessimistic personality. I am partly to blame because I have never wanted to rock the boat and always keep her feeling in mind. I can't say the same for her when it comes to her keeping my feeling in mind. but I can't speak for her.

But, This is the goal of cults like the JW's. Keep the congregants down with a bleak outlook on life. In fact I would go as far to say all religions do this. Because in reality I believe all religions are cults to varying degrees. The JW cult being one of the worst.

Wife told me a tale about a letter writing experience and my BS meter was like "uhhh ya rightttttt"

So anyways to story goes.

During her letting writing with other women in the cult. One women shared an experience where supposedly she was at a grocery story and an older women was struggling with her groceries.

The JW went and asked her if she could help. ( as if only witnesses offer help LOL) The woman refused, but finally said ok. Then the non JW said it was sad how so many people are in a rush and thank you for taking the time to help.

Well the JW said, "well I am a jehovahs witness and we take the time to help."

The non JW said, " I just got a letter from a Jehovah witness and it was such a encouraging letter, in fact I keep it with me here in my purse and pulled out the letter.

(LOL ya righttt)

The JW said, " I write letters, is there a name on the letter?"

the NON JW: " yes the name is ******." (who knows. i didn't ask.)

The JW said: Thats my name, I wrote that letter.

The NON jw was so impressed that she started a bible study.

I asked my wife, Is this a personal experience from the JW who told you or was it from someone else.

My wife said it was a personal experience.

I was like Yeah righttttttttt, but i bit my tongue.

Anyone hear stupid stuff like this from the letter writing. Maybe the JW woman was lying and trying to start a folklore.
