Where a safe place that you can download about an hour or so worth of this music, I think this may also be used in meditation with good results.

Using mythology to understand obscure passages

lucifer the arrogant fallen angel.
poor translating and ignorance of canaanite mythology have concealed the point that the author was making.

Thanks Pete!
I think this valid at least as far as I can see you make a very valid point about "Myths" so many Christians feel it is a sin to say the Bible is full of mythology, they think "Myths" are something bad.
They forget the Bible was written by people that had believed in "Myths" Science had not yet developed very much back then, and "Myths" served a very valuable purpose, and let not forget that the teaching of Jesus had a profond effect on thinking over the last 2000 years as well as influences from pagan wise men, has bought us out of "Myths" only to a minor degree, we still beleive in "Myths" today with only a slightly less sceptasism.

Leolaia,
This is totally cool, these ancient songs make me think of evolution and how man was comming to consciousness, andthe ability to decern what is evil, and what is good, and the need to worship God that came with this consciousness.
All though this need to worship God was probably 100's thousands year old by then, I often wounder if there are deep messages in these song's that our modern computor age may someday extract. Like the theory of "Chaos" and all those "fractals" that before the computor;;; were just considers random fuctuations to mathamatic nonlinier problems. Who would have guessed it? The idea seemed so prepostereous, but the beauty of it is;;; is that it is true.
I' thinking we could learn something about the human mind with the right research.

Jesus' appearance before King Herod in early tradition
by Leolaia inluke is unique of the four gospels in depicting a trial scene between jesus and king herod.
the same account is also missing in the acts of pilate and other apocryphal gospels and is thus probably a lukan composition.
as crossan, koester, helms, and others have shown, the passion narratives are almost entirely constructed of material stitched together through ot exegesis.

Leolaia,
I meant what I said in a complementary way, I don't think my mind could do what yours does. You must have a detective in you that drives you to solve the puzzle.

"Where God Enters" 14th century Mystic,, Meister Eckhart
by frankiespeakin ini went to the library and pick up this book which is a translation of some of meister eckhart's sermons.
creatures cannot enter the soul, nor can the soul know anything about a creature whose image she has not willingly taken into herself.
now god needs no image and has no image: without image, likeness, or means does god work in the soul, in her ground wherein no image ever entered other than himself with his own essence.

JT,
I enjoy this :
We fear that if all intellectual and conceptual analyzation ends we will end. It's true, in that the imaginary mental construct of small, frightened, fragmented and separated entity "me" dissolves. The pure and pristine Truth of our Being remains. No more boxes. No more walls. Embracing all in infinite wonder it is discovered "I and the Father are One". We thought this was a relative truth appropriate for only one man. It is, instead, a universal-truth in which nothing is excluded. j
I don't think a man could do this and veiw life, in lifes expereinces in the flesh the same ever he has to be completely transendant, but how could a person so united with God ever be afraid. I don't think any man who has doubt about God has had this experience.

Leolaia,
How do you do it? You seem to be a very driven personality, that has a hungry mind.
Can I ask you why you do it? Are you looking for God?

From this site:
http://www.domcentral.org/prov/chapter/prov2003/rwoodsmystical.htm
I got this: In his treatise on The Nobleman, Eckhart writes,
"When a man, the soul, the spirit, sees God, he realises and knows himself as knowing. That is, he knows that he sees and knows God. Now some people have thought, and it seems credible, that the flower and kernel of bliss lies in that knowledge, when the spirit knows that it knows God; for if I had all joy and did not know it, what good would that be to me, and what joy would that be? But I definitely deny that that is so. Though it is true that the soul cannot be happy without that, yet felicity does not depend on it; for the first condition of felicity is that the soul sees God naked [that is, devoid of all images or conceptual representations]. From that she derives all her being and her life, and draws all that she is, from the ground of God, knowing nothing of knowledge, nor of love, nor of anything at all. She is utterly calm in God's being, knowing nothing but being there and God. But when she is aware and knows that she sees, knows and"

Leolaia,
I was just woundering, you guys know more about the Bible than me. So I'd like to ask questions for you to think about, which I do not know the answer to, but perhaps some of you guys and gals may be closer to the true about the Bible than I.
I read somewhere, Justin Martyr may not even heard of the four Gospels, and got most of his information from the apostle Paul writings, and what about that mysterious Q-document, May Justin martyr and have gotten his information from that document as well as others besides the four Gospels.
And that the four Gospels were just starting to get into circulation but had not reached him yet. Clearly I think we could say the apostle Paul's writings predate the four Gospels we currently have as Canon.
