Un-elder yourself. It can be done very easy. You already know the ropes. From there you can proceed as you see fit. Serving is something you volunteer for and is not required. You will be surprised at how much better you will feel without everybody's problems nagging you all the time. More time for the people you love who really love you, your family. Wish you the best!

i'm sorry that inadvertently i've likely taught many to judge and as such see that racism permeates every corner of the jw world, else why else would someone be of the world, or even inactive.
i'm sorry i sat in on a jc, and voted to df.

This happened to my grandfather years ago and he had issues with it off and on for several years. My grandmother read about a simple way to treat it in "Prevention" magazine. I don't remember all the details but I remember him taking Niacin in increasing small amounts until he felt itchy and hot. Then he took the exact same amount on a daily basis of Niacimide (buffered niacin). He never had a problem with it after that unless he forgot to take his Niacimide for a period of time. He was eventually diagnosed with Ménière's disease.
Back then ('70s) it was unheard of but today many supplements contain niacin in the form of niacimide (B3). This is not a diagnosis but rather a suggestion on where to start your research. Also like stated many time above, go to your doctor.

here is what a credentialed teacher in the state of california must agree to as part of their licensing and credentialing.
(this is a requirement of both initial credentialing as well as renewals).

The OP also applies to classified staff at California schools. Our maintenance staff was also required to take online training/testing and sign paperwork concerning the Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Act as part of our employment contract.
We were told that if we become aware of a situation to not even report to our supervisors but go straight to the authorities and were given all the necessary contact information. I didn't see the wt legal dept. on the list... lol.

For me it was a culmination of things but the two most for me was CoC and the Generation teaching. Of course many things became crystal clear the less involved I was in jw activities. I was stunned when I examined the 607 baloney. Londo did it for me, and it was fun to use the astronomy app to boot!
I almost walked away in 02 after the dateline show. Not because of the show itself but how the elders in our cong were handling it ( and expected me to follow suite) telling the cong it was apostate lies because no sister would be allowed to wear a pant suit at bethel! I asked them if they realized that Barbara Anderson was no longer at bethel when the interview was taken. Just got the deer in the headlights look from the boe. At that time I came to the conclusion it was just the mentally challenged elders in my congregation... little did I know.

Lieu2 days ago He's one of the many shareholders of WTBTS stock. Most don't realize the WTBTS is listed on the NASDAC like any other corporation & that many shareholders are not JW.

How do you feel about exJW's who resist our efforts to effect change?

i'm not talking about the jw who, whether df'd or not, falls off the radar and just gets on with living a normal life - good luck to them and may there be many more!.
i mean the former jehovah's witness who is now enjoying all the benefits of a cult free life thanks to the efforts of many bloggers, posters and activists, but is critical of the efforts of someone close them to free more jws.

Looking Back in Retrospect to 1995 ...
by LoveUniHateExams ini very much enjoyed reading through titch's thread: 'looking back in retrospect to 1975 ...' and all the comments from posters that lived through that event and remembered it.. i was born in 1979, so had nothing to offer for that thread.. however, i do remember very clearly living through 1995 (the end of the 1914 generation) and remember how it affected me and my view of the wts.
up until oct/nov 1995, i genuinely believed the society to be god's one true earthly organisation.
the watchtower presenting the new meaning of generation seriously shook my faith in the wts and, i suppose, started me on my journey to ttatt.

My sentiments exactly. Two elders sat on my couch and I asked them to explain it to me and they both said they didn't understand it. I told them it wasn't scriptural and they said they would just "wait on Jehovah."OTWO: That ended the very moment it was breezed over in the Kingdom Hall like it was just another change. I didn't abandon doing what was expected of me. I didn't say anything to anybody about my new freedom to question things and think for myself, but I was not the same lemming willing to run right off the cliff if the other members did so.
