Witnesses illusion that they have their OWN conscience!! What a joke! Examples.

witnesses always claim to have a "bible trained conscience" yet they are really just watchtower robots who cant piss without checking with an elder or watchtower.

an elder who cuts hair was scared when i asked for a bald buzz cut since my hair was receding and grey.

he actually rang a bethel elder to see if this was okay watchtower wise!

Anyone else hear of this?

a jw family member informed me they are filling out an application to preach the truth in israel.

interested ones in the congregation were asked to start saving now, as the cost of the flights would be their own responsibility.

the time frame for this preaching work is for a couple of weeks in may/june 2017. the applications are to be turned in this sunday.

Sounds fishy to me as Watchtower has been promoting price inflated

junkets to conventions etc for decades,

A real privilege to go lol

It's been a real cash cow,

We were admonished NOT to make our own arrangements which we could make for a fraction of the cost so,

Make your own travel arrangements and Watch Tower doesn't get their cut?

i have always been told as a jw that trinitarians, particularly baptists, are just the worst people to argue with out in service.

i have always been told it was the world with a veil over their eyes.

the hypocritical irony is that so many witnesses are completely stubborn and willing to believe in magic before they believe anything against their dogma.

what was it in the evolution of religion that got them so hung up about what people do with their genitalia?.

i mean, the (mis)use of genitalia is up there with murdering another human being in terms of badness.. and in the 21st century, we have a situation where in the jw religion, it's deemed as acceptable for three middle aged/old men to sit a teenage girl down and ask her the details of her use of her genitals.

to any normal person this is intrusive, completely inappropriate and bordering on deviancy.. why they so obsessed?.

Jehovah's Witnesses Crime Against Grammar

so this is really starting to grate on me the more i think about it because it's just wrong grammatically.. one of my friends always refers to me used to being "a jehovah witness" which used to grate whenever she said it but now it seems more correct.. think about it this way: bruce springsteen has fans.

they are fans of bruce springsteen or, bruce springsteen's fans.

but each of them isn't a bruce springsteen's fan.

I'm surprised that JFR didn't work out the tenses after having the dream that gave birth to the name as I understand that he was a very considerate man,

The dust is now settling on this thread,

The JWs are experts at polemics,

With a sick twist,

A good defense lawyer will fight for his client with every argument true or false,

Painting his client in the best possible light,

The problem and the difference with JWs

Is that they now believe their own dreck,

Nothing in life ESPECIALLY religion is this black and white,

Deep down inside I believe they know this too,

But there's great honor, whether in a service car are at a door (why do you think they're in twos) to win each mini crusade/argument,

You do know they congratulate each other when the door closes?
