God didn't bring me back, I brought MYSELF back!! Well there is still a little difference of opinion on this point,

If you don't BELIEVE you will BURN forever, or you and family will die at Armageddon in a number of really nasty ways (except by flood, I'M SORRY I TELL YOU I'M SORRY)

The JWs are experts at polemics,
With a sick twist,
A good defense lawyer will fight for his client with every argument true or false,
Painting his client in the best possible light,
The problem and the difference with JWs
Is that they now believe their own dreck,
Nothing in life ESPECIALLY religion is this black and white,
Deep down inside I believe they know this too,
But there's great honor, whether in a service car are at a door (why do you think they're in twos) to win each mini crusade/argument,
You do know they congratulate each other when the door closes?

When I see folks clearly lying and yet talking about having "the truth" makes me feel good about being out, I've always hated hypocrisy :0)
i'm sure that most longer term readers on this list know that the use of the number in the revelation was a 'code' using the jewish concept that assigned number values to the letters of the hebrew alphabet.. a promoter of modern judaism ( dr. eliyahu lizorkin-eyzeneberg) explains:.

There's official stupid and grass roots stupid in this, one of the grass roots (especially popular among women) is that men with beards are "hiding something"

It's amusing to think that the Guy in charge of the UNIVERSE cares whether I have a beard or not, Honestly, maybe when he's not critiquing my socks lol, quite touching really, I would have thought Him too busy, :0)
my mom has been extensively texting me, trying to argue that the un ngo scandal is not a big deal and that the child abuse scandal is to instigate the great tribulation.
even worse, she kept saying how great it is that the gb is imperfect and fallible and that teaching changes all the time.
maybe it was aggravation or impatience, but i finally just snapped and told her, "it's a cult, mom.".
You cannot reason away a belief from anyone who desperately wants to believe it;
