  Pseudo history in Watchtower today 😂

  gorby went to the kh for family reasons today.. and landed right away middle in a pseudo history watchtower article.

  just that aspect of the jw belief he is so sensative about.. so 1918 and 1919 are changed with one mark of a pencil.

  IT'S NOT THE TRUTH!!

  Her family didn't listen

  As they are spiritual (believing) sort of folk

  Also

  If they keep baptizing 10 to 15 year Olds

  They have successfully indoctrinated

  The next generation

  So that

  They are golden

  I believe the "Good Samaritan" was known for helping out someone of a

  DIFFERENT religion!

  Isn't there a scripture that says something to the effect "you who are

  teaching others do you not teach yourselves?"

  I think there should be JCs set up for those who don't follow such basic

  Scriptural teachings

  What I miss about going out in service.

  well, very little, to be honest.

  the structure and commitment of the ministry provided discipline necessary to my life.

  therefore, i did it, as required, and felt some sense of fulfillment at the bible study stage.. i do like talking to people.

  I loved meeting people

  when not dead tired (most of the time)

  over many many years

  my best times were alone

  my most memorable calls were a Moslem from Yemen,

  Evangelical Trinitarians,

  A disillusioned ex priest

  a dying woman,

  Recently (as an exjdub) a Sikh

  People really open up if you're respectful and they sense that

  you're not trying to jam something down their throat

  I love people

  And I learn a lot from them

  another time I'll tell you about my last door 🙂

  People are more informed now which can be fun but NOT if you're a jdub

  apologist

  Good luck to them because informed people won't talk to them!!

  I was still a teenager in the 70s

  And I remember quite clearly being upset

  At learning and memorizing points

  That were all changed in the latest issue of the Watchtower

  I thought it my responsibility to know the information well

  To relay it to the people I was studying with

  After all lives were involved

  Truth be told

  We didn't know it then but

  We were in fact

  Playing with people's lives

  So, I watched "The Founder" today, and had a minor Revelation

  by Captain Schmideo2 in

  in the movie's story, ray kroc, the man who is in charge of franchising mcdonalds restaurants, is finding himself in a situation where he is doing gangbusters at creating the stores, but is going broke on his contract.

  he gets help from another fast food executive who examines his books.one aspect of the business jumps out.

  the stores need land to operate on, and that money is going to the land-owners who lease the land to the stores.

  Attitude in Kingdom Hall vs. in church

  so, today i went to a different church than the jw's for the first time in over three years.. it is a protestant african church.

  my first thoughts: for people who are 'trapped in babylon the great (according to watchtower) these people really seem genuingly happy and sincere in their adoration for god.

  what a freedom compared to the witnesses!
