  "Normal family affections and dealings" continue - If only?!?

  i am new to this forum - it is only a couple of weeks since i have allowed myself to acknowledge and research my doubts.

  i am trying to be fair by reading both sides of the story and considering jw official explanation of confusing matters.

  one of the issues i have been looking at is shunning - and i was shocked to see the misleading information about shunning on the jw.org website: .

  Many prohibitions are not directly stated by the Society, however you as one of Jehovah's Witnesses know that shunning is being stressed at Assemblies and conventions.

  Just as they say voting in a matter of conscience. They do not have the balls to put what they really believe on their web site or in print. Once again, however, what do you think would happen to an Elder or Pioneer who went down and cast a vote for the president?

  Please read and learn from this site. There is a lot of good information.

  WOW! I was an Elders for many years. I just looked up and read the letter from Judge Rutherford to Hitler.

  Amazing... No wonder the "New WBTS" wants to distance them self from him and Russel.

  No way God speaks through the GB of today. Its just like any other cult. I want a refund!

  I find this ironic. A Fire Dept. Captain in Prescott Arizona prohibited me as a licensed real estate agent with a qualified buyer from entering his home , that was listed on the MLS, to show it because I was DFed.

  His name is James Baker, elder in Willow Creek Cong.

  Should I have filed a federal lawsuit? HaHa.. The house never sold!

  its a rainy day and have been reading posts.. i would like to respond to the comments of those still in, post to those who have decided to leave.. what ever you have been told or may think about what will happen without "the truth" , is not true.

  my life without the wbts is fantastic.

  no stress, live in a beautiful place, great new friends and total peace of mind.

  What ever you have been told or may think about what will happen without "The Truth" , is Not true. My life without the WBTS is fantastic. Never better. No stress, live in a beautiful place, great new friends and total peace of mind. I am now 60 and was in for over 40 years. I have no fear of death yet enjoy every minute of life.

  Someday I will die just as you will and your children will and their children. I do not know what will happen after ,no one truly does, however I do know Armageddon will not have happened.

  Enjoy life and treat others well.

  What person/persons/group is behind the rebranding of Jehovahs Witnesses

  with the jw rebranding program in full swing, who do you think is behind all this?

  i'm not certain the governing body came up with these ideas.

  at least not the old guard which died off around 2009.. given the fairly recent articles in the kingdom ministry and watchtower about the dangers of the internet and having the latest gadget, this rebranding effort can't have been in the works for much more than three years.. the makeover is slick...very slick...and very clever.

  Outstanding point. Who is behind all this new look.

  Damm I am glad to be out. Would hate rolling one of the crazy carts around.

  And say.... how much does the GB charge for them? Anyone know.

  Hope the bought lots of Apple stock before they told millions of followers to go out and buy I pads.
