  a question after my first JW meeting

  i attended my first jw meeting recently.

  first, i would like to say what i agree with about the jehovah's witnesses beliefs and practices.. 1. they don't consider israeli's as "god's chosen people" and they don't worship israel as some holy land filled with righteous jews (although there are some there) as most so-called "christians" (christian zionists) erroneously believe they are instead of the "hypocrites" and "vipers" that it is actually filled with.. 2. they don't celebrate "holidays" like easter and christmas which are, in fact, remnants of earlier pagan practices.. 3. they don't put nation before god and christ.

  they don't believe in war or going to war because of some crazy government/cia secret agenda.

  ok , my wife and i have faded for a year and a half , i won't bore u with all the details but my wife just got confirmation that her sister got a visit some time ago saying we are marked and my sister also got the same visit in which we were described as dangerous, now for my wife , she has not spoken 1 bad word to anyone about the org apart from me (she woke me up ) the elders came around while i wasn't home and bailed her up but she said she wasn't comfortable talking to them without me there ,so the result ?......

  let's do a round of all their friends and say shit about them because we can't df them but let's get them treated the same as if they were .... yeah yeah that's a good idea .... stupid mofos!

  out to just wreck the reputation of any defectors from the org .

  I know the feeling. I was DFed in 08 and reinstated 18 months later. Being out for that time woke me up. When I went back I viewed things different. I then walked out and never went back.

  I too was marked and have not been able to talk to my family.

  No regrets. Very happy now yet I do miss my sons. But hey.....they are grown men and if the chose to follow the direction of the Borg .... thats that.

  How Many People Here Still Believe In “God”?

  because of this site i realized that there were many people who were active jehovah’s witnesses really didn’t believe in god at all.

  i’m curious how many people believe in god?

  i’m not interested in debating why you shouldn’t have a belief in a god or should.

  My New Year Present to Everyone

  i have lived in sedona arizona for over five years.

  we own the largest wine tour company here and take out more people to the vineyards in this area then anyone less.

  waton , Do you really feel Clinton's actions , although very wrong, were the same as a 32 year old man preying on 14 to 16 year old girls?

  The WTBS has also been covering over such behavior for years. If both Clinton and Moore were baptized JWs at the time of their acts, Clinton could have been DFed, Moore , due to not actually putting his dick in a 14 year old would have been talked to. I have been on many committee's and seen first hand how such situations are handled.

  waton, if you have been on such committee's and experienced different results please state where and when.

  Thank you MeanMrMustard. I know how full of shit Roy Moore is . I was in the same as Roy is doing, deny ,yet when I was an Elder I was Living a double life. Not toward the vices he has , but a life that was totally in contrary to what I was preaching about. (Mine was an Affair) When people found out what a fake I was they were shocked.

  And no one can change until the admit the shit they have been doing.

  For the first time sense I have been a voter, it is so awesome to feel my vote may matter. FUCK these men who hide behind religion and have their way with young girls or boys. JWs protect them by not reporting them and so do many on the Right.

  DAMM it feels good to be free and know the truth! I voted today for Doug Jones.

  so i was reading the book of daniel, starting with chapter 4 (nebuchadnezzar's famous tree chopping/banding dream where the 7 times is introduced) but i noticed that when you don't cherry pick verses and just read straight thru - it really seems like some children's book that was poorly written.

  even though the borg says that this book as written by daniel, chapter 4 is clearly written by "king nebuchad·nezzar to all the peoples, nations, and language groups dwelling in all the earth" after the tree chopping business.

  ) of the rest of the chapters seem to be written in 3rd person (odd, if you are writing about your experiences).
