Revealing Watchtower tax returns

under the freedom of information act, this guy has tax returns showing where your money goes, where it is invested, companies like northrop gruman, monsanto, cigarette and porn peddlers, and we thought we where giving money to god!

i am quite sickened to discover i was giving money to the watchtower to invest in arms manufacturers..

Hey everyone.

As much as I dislike the WBTS , I also dislike miss stated info. This video and tax return is from a private family that has created a trust fund to pass to the WBTS at some future date.

This is not an IRS form filed by the Borg.

Just saying. I have had many JWs and Elders lie about me and misrepresent what I have said and done in the past 5 years. Lets try to get it straight.

As soon as we show miss stated facts to the few still in that we would hope to help, their friends and Elders can show we miss stated something just makes it harder the next time.

i was once a person who believed in god destroying 7 billion people so a few people could live in paradise.. when the penny finally dropped and i realised what as a jehovah's witnesses i was really praying for , it made me feel sick.

what is attractive about a person that prays for this world to end .

i was ashamed to have been a witness deeply ashamed .

Many of us here were born into this sick thinking. Our parents hopefully thought it was in our best interests to believe that way.

Yet how grateful we are to now truly know "the truth"

Many of those million we wished death upon are wonderful people. People who love and care for others. People who have helped many of us pass through into the light of being free.

When ever I read post like yours it reminds me of the loved ones I have lost by expressing my disagreement with the way I once believed. I still love them. And now I have love and empathy for countless more.

I use this site to try and keep up to date on the WBTS. I put over 50 years of my life believing it all and now enjoy being out yet staying up to date. This site for the most part does that.

Not to listen to people rant and rave.

Yogapants,

The WBTS did and has received high zoning on all of their properties throughout the USA. They have also reached out to 1000s like me to fly out and work on these properties for free. Taking time and money away from our businesses and families. Now they are selling these improved properties for profit.

Plowing a street or picking up trash is nothing in the scheme of things.

Shunning ? did JEHOVAH shun Satan ?

i don`t know if this has been addressed before , however it appears there is an inconsistency and a big one at that with the practice of shunning with jw`s.

elders / ministerial servants look out for the spiritual health of the congregation , and if they see something they feel is detrimental to the spiritual health of the congregation they are going to act to rectify it, .

they take appropiate action where they think is necessary .

I feel the Borg, as they continue to try and control, truly needs shunning. Their greatest fear, even more than lack of money, is members still in freely talking with those of us out. We have so much to share.

Just watched Going Clear. Amazing how an organization can control the minds and lives of so many intelligent people.

Hey.... I do not think I am a dummy and I believed it ! I would love to see shunning done away with but do not think it will.

six months ago i knocked on my sister's door.

she was shocked to see me "god johnfree, who has died" she said smiling.

she was disfellowshipped 20 years ago.. i had not seen her for years.

Yes I have been to a couple of post reunions. Many are still mad about their life as a JW.

To me, life goes on, life can be great. We all need to move on. I do understand some need more help than others.

But as a JW I was controlled and judged. Now it is time to make the most of our lives.

Life outside is great!

Magazine Demo

two sisters did a magazine demo recently.

one used her tablet to show a scripture to the other one.

the second one said: "that looks easier than trying to find it in a book.".

Amazing how Jehovah changes his mind to keep up with technology! Could He not see the future of the internet?

Just a few short years ago the Borg counseled us not even to use paper print outs of scriptures during meetings, let alone in service.

This proves to me that this organization is run by MEN, not God. I think the creator of the universe could see the future of the internet. Men can not, and adjust what is now acceptable as they go.
