I was reading the Bart's answer to Terry on th name "Jehovah", and I remembered that when I did my personal study about the Church Fathers of the second century I found that Justin Martyr ignored the divine name:
From the First Apology of Justin Martyr:
... and as many virtues as are peculiar to a God who is called by no proper name. (Chapter 10)
For no one can utter the name of the ineffable God; and if any one dare to say that there is a name, he raves with a hopeless madness. (Chapter 61)Justin lived during the first half of the second century, so he knew no NT manuscript containing the name YHWH. And by other Justing's readings I concluded that he only knew, the OT Greek version, the Septuagint, in which you find "Kurios" (Lord) instead of YHWH.
So, Justin was a bad "Jehovah's witness". :)

I have these two interesting phrases, so I joined them:
Due to the mercy of God, as displayed in all of the legal provisions of his property and the property of the Israelites in general, what David did was not “wrong” in God’s eyes, even though “technically” unlawful............Does that mean that we therefore have the right to indiscriminately use blood if a need is established? No.
Did you see the ethical contradictions in the above sentences?

Your arguments were great. You showed how blind are these witnesses. They think that their literature is holy, they are very ignorant people. Their black and white world bothers me. -

Telling Parents About TTATT
by ivanatahan inmy parents are zealous jecultah's blindnesses, but my sister and i are not.
because of this, we are limited in our abilities/opportunities in life.
mu parents hate my sister because she went to college and started a full time job and thus isn't able to go to meetings or service.

If I were you, I would tell them what I think about the falsehood of the Watchtower Society. Ask them questions about the past false prophecies, the absurdity of the issue on blood fractions, and so on. I don't know if you still believe in the Bible (I currently not, I am an agnostic now), but, if you still believe in it, you could show them how unscriptural is the Lord's Supper in the Watchtowerland. Indeed, this was one of the first issues that I began to reject when I noticed that the foundation of the doctrines of the Watchtower were created by an evil man, namely, Joseph Rutherford. For instance, I discovered that Rutherford published in the Watchtower that the holy spirit was taken away since 1918. I was shocked when I read it, and I realized that this guy was an apostate. I was also shocked when I read how Rutherford answered the Letter of Olin Moyle. Could this man have God's backing? -

WT is trying to scare off memorial partakers
by cookiemaster ini don't know how many of you still participate in the sunday wt study, but i unfortunately still do.
even though i was asleep half of the time, i did notice something i thought i should share with the rest, in case you haven't noticed.
a lot of the paragraphs were worded strongly against partaking and used clear language of intimidation and discouragement toward anyone thinking of partaking.

Thank you, I have read the article. I see they provide the same arguments, as always. But I have a simple one to destroy their theology: If anyone invites me for dinner just to observe and not to eat, I would say : "Is this a joke?", so "don't invite again". -

How many of you still believe in God or are still Christians?
by JWCartPusher inhello, i asked a new but old friend how many people are still christians after leaving the watchtower's mind control agency, for statistical purposes do you mind if i do a survey and see how many of you are believers?.
please don't post if your not a believer out of respect for this poll, we need to sharpen each other's sword and help build each other up and meet new friends over the internet with faith in god or some other force of the universe.
i asked another person how we can still manage our faith after getting burned by the high group mind control, he had a few ideas but he's not really involved with god because of how life burned him.
