David H. Splane: The “Slave” Is Not 1900 Years Old (Matt. 24:45)
by opusdei1972 ininterestingly, what the gb member david splane has actually exposed is that the christian religion is and was always a mess.
of course he is right in saying that there was no coherent spiritual guide during 1900 years, but it tells us what kind of "god" is their "jehovah god".
if that "god" exists, then he prevaricated for 1900 years, and he still maintains this attitude.

...Also, note that if "Jehovah God" inspired "the Bible", he was very indifferent with respect to his Book. If that Book were an issue of salvation, why "Jehovah God" permitted so many centuries without its worldwide diffusion?. This reasoning is the key to determine if the god of the Bible actually exists. -

The Old Testament preaches an immoral religion. Also, the New Testament forces us to believe in Jesus as the only mean of salvation, otherwise all we will be destroyed or tormented in a Hell. -

Are atheists more likely to be morally good than Christians?
by FusionTheism ini have no problem saying atheists and christians are equal.. but some people seem to have the belief that atheists are more likely to be morally good, or more likely to change the world for good, than christians and theists.. but what evidence do you have to support this claim?.
if atheism is what causes people to do great positive things for the world, then why weren't martin luther king, jr., william wilberforce, isaac newton, francis collins, barack obama, mother theresa, abraham lincoln, or john f. kennedy atheists?.

Christianism begins with a false premise and a wrong accusation:
"He[Jesus] is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world."
(1 John 2:2)
"Who is the liar? It is whoever denies that Jesus is the Christ."
(1 John 2:22)
So, Christianism tells us that whoever denies the role of Jesus as the Christ, that one is a liar. This premise is already immoral.

The moral problem of Ephesians 5:23
by opusdei1972 infor the husband is the head of the wife as christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the savior.
(ephesians 5:23).
if jesus is the head of the church, jesus is responsible for the many contradictions contained in the new testament.

How much control is acceptable for a husband to impose on his wife?
Could a husband prevent his wife from cheating on him?
Could a husband prevent his wife from committing heinous crimes?
Ok, then, I would divorce. Because if my wife commits those crimes I would leave her.
I think putting the blame on Jesus for the wrong acts of those who claim to act in his name is misguided.
If Jesus is currently the head of the Church, he is in fact responsible for its crimes. But if Jesus died as any man, and had no responsibility for what his apostles preached after that, so he was a simply man whose figure was used to expand a sect of liars.

For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior. (Ephesians 5:23)
If Jesus is the head of the Church, Jesus is responsible for the many contradictions contained in the New Testament. He is also responsible for the many divisions in the Church. He is responsible for the many crimes committed by the Catholic and the Protestant Churches. .....So, if he is the head of the Church, he prevaricates every day.
So, if you believe that Jesus is the head of the Church, what kind of head he is?????

All Christians Should Accept EVOLUTION
by FusionTheism init is time for christians to accept evolution, in my opinion.. there are many reasons why i think it is long overdue for all christians to finally accept what science says about evolution.
below i will show these reasons.. .
the bible tells people to pay attention to nature to see the glory of god (psalm 19; romans 1:19-20).
-
opusdei1972
There is no contradiction between accepting evolution and believing in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. There is no reason you can't believe in both Jesus saving us from sin and that evolution was the natural process God used to create life on earth.
The problem is that Jesus and his apostles believed that Adam was the first man. However, Adam is the personage of a myth who born just 4000 years before Christ. But we know that the first men lived 200 000 years ago, and most probably they came from Africa and not from the garden of Eden which was, according to the Bible, in the Middle East, situated somewhere near where the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers are today. So, why should believe in the Gospel of Jesus, knowing that this Gospel contains serious errors????

'Conti' Court decision secures Watchtower's Policy of confidentiality
by telemetry11 inthe court on the rule of confidentiality of penitential communications and evidentiary privilege--.. decision reads:.
"the law generally protects the confidentiality of communications with clergy like those of kendrick to the elders here.".
"if the person has a constitutional right to independence in making religious choices, the recognition of an evidentiary privilege is an apt means of protecting that autonomy.

Accordingly, we conclude that the elders of the Fremont Congregation had no duty to depart from Watchtower's policy of confidentiality ..."
Religion must lose its protected status.

Does The Governing Body Have Enemies At Bethel?
by Brokeback Watchtower ini would think that a lot of resentment is building up for these for these guys at bethel even though it may not be discussed openly for fear of being abused by the gb in some way.. any way looking at their personality and the extreme phoniness of rubber mouth/face lett, and am#3, and the chicken shit coward leosch who won't even show up in court when subpoena'd to defend his faith or policies, and i'm sure they have many more undesirable traits that repel people instead of attract and that has to work its toll on relationships they have at bethel.. and this shunning thing i'm sure must really erk some at god's house and while they may not be free to voice their discontent i feel it must be building because these guys are complete nincompoops when it come to reality and the only way they know how to give direction is with fear and guilt which i'm sure is rubbing a lot of people the wrong way.. and let not forget the issues that are raise when they stole all the congregations savings and the pledge drive for more cash, ban on higher education, lawsuit pay out and etc.... what is this doing to the relation ship they have with legal and accounting i see trouble brewing right thier in the spiritual pair of dice..
