  the recent closure of jwr made me realize that this site may not be eternal as well.

  a great deal of people attach a lot of importance to xjw communities and yours is the best.

  Hello! Glad to see everyone from JWR finding their place on the various forums.

  We've seen an uptick of new members over at the EXJW sub-reddit as well. Link

  I like both forums, although I try to save my swearing for reddit.

  Does anyone know if the old JWR data is archived anywhere? We could find a way to keep it accessible, if only in "read only" form. From the Google cache I see there were at least:

  Ah yes! YouTube comments. There is no "suggestion box" at the KH. There is no comment section of the Borg site. But on YT people can comment on the videos.

  Bethel downsizing is still coming

  i spoke with a bethelite (non-us) last week who says that a 20-25% downsize is coming at their bethel in the fall of 2016. this is in addition to the cutbacks of 2015. more will be sent out 'to the field'..

  New songs unexpectedly released . . .

  earlier this year it was announced to all congregations that the new silver songbook would ultimately be made of 150 songs, (matching the number of psalms in the bible).

  however, they've apparently changed there minds in the last few months, because songs 152-154 were just posted to both jw-org and jw broadcasting.. https://www.jw.org/en/whats-new/.
