though we can easily dismiss many of jws teachings on many counts, the sad part is that we do not have any alternative.

1) 1) though some of the things bible said may have gone wrong (most of which would not even touch our day-to-day lives), the worst thing it foretold (which very much affects our day-today-lives) has come true: people will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world.

(luke 21:26).

Will there ever be another campaign like the 2006 one with kn37 ("The End of False Religion Is Near!")?

remember the 2006 tract campaign with kingdom news 37 - the end of false relgion is near!?

it seems to me that jwdom has changed to the point that there will not be anymore such campaigns.

it seems that the new rebranded jwdom is too soft for such a campaign; it's too feel-good, happy-clappy, and mainstream.. i just can't imagine a tract campaign like that coming from the new jwdom.

Millie - I agree, the WTS have toned down attacking the catholic church. I don't think they ever really attacked other religions. I've always wondered why.

The End of False Religion is Near - complete b*ll*cks. While the West allows atheism and freedom from religion, other countries do not and aren't likely to change in the near future.

i don't typically hear from my mom often, but i tell you, over the past couple of weeks, i have heard from her several times.

you heard the comment about "our way of worship will be altered" and thank you for your posts by the way....but yesterday, she calls and is asking about the kids and then, in typical jw fashion mind you, says:.

"you know, you should really get back to meetings.

CO says there's only 15 years left! - 2015 + 15 = 2030. Could this be the start for teaching a 120 year teaching period like Noah? 1914 + 120 = 2034 for the big A?

When I was younger, I was 'regular in the ministry' and 'working towards baptism'.

I was encouraged to go through the United in Worship book and the baptism questions. I was told it would be a shame if I 'missed out'. That was in Sept 1994

Devolution, not evolution

one can dismiss this as an exception*!

yet overwhelming proofs are too obvious to miss if we take the community as an individual (community is the reflection of the behavior pattern of the individuals that make up the whole).

I notice, abiather, that you've not provided supporting evidence for your 6 assertions in the OP.

Also, please explain why those 6 points run against evolution.
