Rationality could be found in Scriptures!

though religions have done enough harm to mankind, it often has to do with the exclusive attitude most of them developed misinterpreting the scriptures.

thus scriptures were blamed for all the misdeeds of religions.

this was precipitated by certain verses in scriptures which are obviously interpolated by those with vexed interest..

some countries such as hollande believe there is going to be a total war.

when they met last year in the same place, they had put forward a peace plan (a ceasefire, withdrawal of artillery, prisoner exchanges and other concessions) that were never fully implemented!

To alleviate the problem, have a massive world war. cut down numbers from 7 Billion to 1 Billion - billions dying, death and destruction, mountains of dead bodies and only a minority of humans surviving. Where have I heard that before?

I must admit, I'm fairly ignorant of US politics.

They want the abolition of all Mosques - do they really? That's ridiculous.

I feel that things are quite bad in Britain, and that my country has been ruined by 13 years of misrule by New Labour. David Cameron isn't much better. It's got so bad that speeches by Farage start to make sense and sound attractive.

Mr. Farage, who sounds somewhat liberal - this obviously depends on the political views of the observer. To tree-hugging Guardian readers over here in England, Farage is a fascist.

Dominionism may be a threat in the US. Perhaps Gnostic Bishop should have put a youtube clip of some 'Merican religious nut sounding off.

I'd like to say at this point that the authors of the 'kill the gays law' have nothing to do with Farage.

Village Idiot - obviously, the question wasn't only directed to British posters. The politician in the OP is British, however, and I think an acknowledgement should be made of the difference between the beliefs of Nigel Farage and the beliefs of US religious nuts. I think there may be a disconnect between your commentaries about Biblical values and the centre-right beliefs of Mr Farage.

Should able-bodied actors play characters with disabilities? - yes, of course they should. In similar vein, if the director of The Theory Of Everything found a wheelchair-bound actor who could portray Stephen Hawking better that Eddie Redmayne did, they should go with the disabled actor.

It's argued that it's wrong to celebrate Eddie Redmayne "cripping up" - ridiculous. I've learnt a new PC term, 'cripping up'. These fairtrade coffee-sipping tosspots really do have too much time on their hands. It's very difficult to take The Guardian seriously.

Abiather - nuclear weapons act as a deterrent. Just about the only people crazy enough to use them are muzzie fundamentalists like Iran. Thankfully every time Iran progresses in nuclear projects Israeli fighter planes bomb the facilities.
