@min - yes, looking back at what I wrote it does seem like a joke but I was actually being serious.
I genuinely don't think he's Muslim, and as he has a white mother and black father, I view him as mixed race.
i really think that he is.
not that it's a bad thing...

watchtower2005 oct 1 p.28.
having been to university and a jw..it made me think about their logic....... "jehovah's witness congregations are notorious for bad behavioralcohol abuse, immorality, cheating, domestic abuse, child abuse and the list goes on.
University and college campuses are notorious for bad behavior—drug and alcohol abuse, immorality, cheating, hazing - even if this ridiculous generalisation were true, students can choose not to do these things.
i found this statement from a recent article about isis to be quite interesting in view of the way that any jw can be accused of apostasy with little or no possible repercussions or consequences for the accuser: .
in islam, the practice of takfir, or excommunication, is theologically perilous.
if a man says to his brother, you are an infidel, the prophet said, then one of them is right.
I agree with violias, the WTS and islamists aren't too dissimilar on their views on apostasy. The only difference is the WTS eagerly awaits the killing of apostates by God at Armageddon.
The punishment for apostasy is death - this isn't restricted to terrorists. It has widespread support across the Muslim World.
jehovah's personality is explosive with no guarantees he won't blow a head gasket and destroy your ass for some petty offense.. i know the jws claim jehovah always keeps his word and once you get to heaven or pass the final test you got guaranteed everlasting life.
but when we look in the bible jehovah seems to kill even his worshipers over trifles, so who is to say that someday he won't get pissed off and destroy the whole human race and start all over again?.
while i don't believe the bible or what the wt corporation teaches about jehovah personality, if what they say is true then i would much rather die than live an eternity under the whims of such a capricious jehovah.. the reward system the bible has promoted is really terrible and not to be grasped at..

Nothing like burning people to death for trying to worship him
'any muthaf*kka worship me da wrong way, ah'm gonna fry his ass. Fo' shizzle'
I'm sure Outlaw can do better - I'm just a beginner
according to radio news earlier today he was raised as a jw but was told to leave home when he was disfellowshipped and turned to the mosque for support.. a teenager who was on his way to behead a british soldier with a 12in knife when he was arrested, has been found guilty of preparing a terrorist act.. brusthom ziamani, 19, was also carrying a hammer and an "islamic flag" when he was arrested in london in august 2014......
Just been reading about this. It was bad for his parents to disown him for leaving the WTS. Of course, that had nothing to do with him being found with a 12 inch knife, a hammer and a black flag of jihad.
He could have chosen to live within the law and worship at his local mosque. Instead, he chose to get involved with terrorism. I hope they lock him up and throw away the key.
end of the worldhow and whenexplained scientifically!.
problem with humans is that they dont learn from mistakes.
their greed has already spoiled air and water, and brought global warming which would ultimately sink most of the inhabited earth!.

in the above article jehovah's witnesses and the jews, a great many controversial issues are placed squarely in the spotlight of history.
Good post, Simon.
Their boasts are more cultish crap.
From what I've read about him, Rutherford was an egotistical bully and a loudmouth.
Apparently, every non-witness belonged to 'the Devil's organisation'.
I feel sorry for ordinary JWs that bore the brunt of persecution, while Rutherford drank alcohol in Beth Sarim or was chauffeured around in one of his Cadillacs.
some jw's on various postingshave asked me was there anything about the jw's i still agree with.
of course there are some things i agree with and some i partially do.
1. political involvement - while i do not agree with totally avoiding anything associated with politics, i agree that many of todays churches are way too involved in trying to sway their constituents beliefs.
Is there anything about the JW's you still like? - the 'clean lifestyle' aspect is vaguely appealing to me sometimes. This can be found among atheists, agnostics, members of other churches/religions, though.
Including the congregation in the discussion - I never saw much of this. Some things were put to a vote - congregation members never voted against, in my experience.
I agree with the OP - religions should be apolitical.
That's about it.
