I was barely 22 y/o when I became inactive pretty much cold turkey. I was inactive for two yrs then I was disfellowshipped on Oct 31st 2002. Even though the Elders tried to get me to meet with them numerous times, I avoided them most of the time, but finally got it over with and met with them the last time and was DF'd shortly thereafter. I was seeing 'worldly' men and was happy doing so and was then with my now fiance. I have been with the wonderful man in my life since 9/01, engaged since 9/04, and our wedding was in 5/07! My parents still talk/see me which I cherish as I've always have been very close to them.
