Why do people feel the need to eat things that can kill them, FooGoo or Poofer Fish? Is it a thrill or am I missing it? Thank's for adding to this thread, I would like to have some idea why people do the things they do, it's cool! I wish the chef never got bit, imagine trying to get the anti-venom some place that's not use to cobra bites. He died because they could not administer First Aid quick enough, bet he was one hell of a good chef!

who is going to provide for all the jws heading towards retirement age over the next five to ten years, men and women in bad health who must work because the watchtower through their salesmen (cos, dos) promised we all would be in god's paradise and "worrying about material things shows a lack of faith".. .
the governing body is showing they are worried about money because all they are talking about is "sign the secret envelope and obey the promise you made to donate each month!

Who are we speaking about? In Acts were told from the very begining the donations made by the early Christians were to help all the Jews who came to Jerusalem from the distant providences of the Roman Empire. The donations in Acts 2 were used to help these new converts remain in Jerusalem so they could get more instruction, nothing was used for the Apostles Retirement Package because they all were going to die(except John).
Acts 2:
42All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals (including the Lord’s Supper i ), and to prayer.

Taking out the parts of the Bible where the Christians decided to share their monies with believers who were suffering from hard times, there is no evidence the Rank and File Christians were the Apostles Pension Plan!
The Watchtower would surely love to have this in print but they don't and can't use the Bible to demand the Jewish custom of a Tithe, there's no proof, nothing, nada, zilch!

Since 1976 I heard that line but was too stupid to ask myself "Why would someone not care if their religion is totally a farse, false and super wrong, it's because they are programmed to the emotional level!" This is something Elders are trained to tell the rest of the Flock if someone is showing sings of doubts. The COs and DOs use to do plugs for "I Don't Care if God is not real, this religion is the best way of life!" lots of fundamental flaws in that line of false reasons. When 1975 came and went there were many JWs who had borrowed lots of money and bought, donated and squandered everything because they really thought the End was coming!
It's now been 100 years since Russells False Prophecy, we are going to hit 100 years on all of Rutherfords False Prophecies too. "Being Broke is the best way to live, no matter how many Government agencies you must beg for money, it's all for the Slave!"
