Assembly Survival Kit

so, i've got the assembly tomorrow, or so the wife says.

my mom would make sure she was able to 'survive' taking us kids to the assembly with a wide variety of 'quiet' snacks, gummy bears, jelly beans, mints, gum, cheerios, placed in quiet containers, tucked in quiet book bags or her giant quiet purse. then we have the assortment of books, tablets, coloring pencils, blanket ,pillow, THEN, to make sure we behaved, she carried a quiet wooden spoon in her purse, which my brother was smacked with in the ladies rest room, quite a bit.
after all, those snacks and coloring pencils always assist a child in siting still.... lol

i havent gone to meetings in about 1 year and a half.

one of my neighbors who is a jw-lady told me that the co on the last visit said that its very likely that right after armageddon (which is just around the corner) the present governing body members will be in charge of the united states since they are familiar with the culture.

and that the apostles and early christians will be in charge of areas like china.

here in matthew chapter 19 jesus tells a man the commandments he has to do to gain life... which apparently did not include partaking of his flesh and blood.

so this means that this man could have everlasting life and not partake of the emblems.

'shall be perfect' sounds past tense . as in when you go to heaven. its impossible for human to be perfect, we cant do the impossible. which is why we were supposed to be forgiven always. ancient Hebrew is so difficult to translate when already mistranslated. although he was only speaking to few disciples, not the crowd of people as he went away from them. and again, only for those under the law. he says in matthew he did not come to end the law but to fulfill it. not one letter was to be changed.

apparently Jehovah hasn't blessed them enough, that they are begging for more funds, why the proclaimed shortfall?
is the faithful slave squandering 'Jehovahs' money so they are running out? how are they wise if they need more?
surely operating a costly tv channel couldn't possibly have been a necessity,
surely expecting all congregations t o buy large screen tvs so people can sit in a room and hear the same crap that has been coming off the platform for decades, was a wise use of money.
are they soon to become a sort of prodigal son? take the inheritance go out and blow it on real estate investments that may fail, and then come crawling back to 'Christendom'

i was just pondering the other day, is it more likely that a man will leave a religion, or a woman?

is there a way to know if the men on the site outnumber the women or vice versa as to who found out ttat first and left.. im going to suggest men.

basically because men in general, do not like to be told what to do.

Anti-JW billboard going up in Texas

the first ever billboard has been crowd funded on reddit and will be going up.

i'm curious to know if it will cause a spark in any jw's who already have questions or doubts and lead them to research into the child abuse cases and lead them to the thought that the wt and gb are not inspired or gods mouthpiece.

at the very least it will provide people a topic of conversation and questions to the jw's who knock on their door: "so whats this whole sex abuse in kingdom halls thing about i saw on the billboard down the road?

Gee God needs money? millions of dollars each month? [hey, we want to see where it goes]
for what? lawsuits? gee think how much MONEY can be saved if there was no assembly halls no headquarters, no printing facilities, no roving circuit overseers, maintaining all of it,
and no lawsuits due to misapplied rules from and ancient sun God.
surely God has shown disapproval at such an organization. they truly are like the rest. not at all humble and discrete.
