i'm off work today and its a monday morning.
a male and female jw just knocked on my door, i opened it, the guy just handed me their latest website promoting tract saying "hi, were just leaving these with people today", and then he made to leave.
i looked at the tract and then looked at him as he was turning to walk away and said to him "ok, thanks, but ummm you could've just left it in my letterbox.".
I remember leaving the tracts/invites on the front porch, under the door matt with a corner showing or the more extreme, sliding it into the closed door crack and into their house!
I think they prefer to just leave a copy rather than have to explain what it is they think they are doing...

I can't imagine anything has changed since I was last out in service over 18 moths ago.
i've talked with some good friends on the board about this before and we seem to be in agreement : one reason ( among many ) that some disfellowshipped jw's go back and return to the wt organization is because they are full of uneeded guilt or uneeded fear because they haven't educated themselves about how the wt society uses mind control tactics to deceive them into thinking they have " nowhere else to go " .
i understand that some dfed ones may go back to the organization for family and friends- however- it's an exrecise in futility because once you learn the truth about the truth you cannot undo what you heard.
so some may just go back and live a fake jw life to appease family- but just think of how that can damage a person's emotional and mental health playing the fake jw game the rest of their lives !

reading so many of our fellows threads, it help's reinforce we made the correct choice in mentally or physically leaving the watchtower's path to truth, they never had it and nobody can prove they did!

First I read from pages 77-79 of C of C and then spoke about the FACT that one man had been running the ORG from 1874-1976, not a GB.

Listening to the comments during the bookstudy and hearing my old "friends" speak is a little spooky, I must admit.
