  some of the friends here have expressed the desire to send a contribution or donation after they have received a document from us.

  while we really appreciate your kindness, we prefer that you send a gift to simon to maintain this board, or to barbara anderson.

  we don't take donations or contributions.. every file we have is free, and we have never had a website to maintain.

  about two years ago after i had resigned as a ms, two elders came by to "encourage" me.. the first line of questioning was if i still believed the gb was directing the org.. i asked him "not to interrogate me".. they tried to open to a series of scriptures.. i cut them off with this tasty zinger: "i'm not interested!"..

  they have not asked to see me since.. being direct has it's advantages.. .

  You need to get yourself into a spot where you can hold your ground and keep your feelings to yourself without feeling obligated to answer the elders questioning.

  --Maybe easier said than done.

  I have done it.

  I think once they get that you will not "play ball", they will leave you alone.

  do you think this is a trend in the entire world or is it exagerated in this organization?.

  Name Some Stupid Watchtower Rules or Ideas

  there's a lot.. one rule that is dumb is that a brother must wear a suit for a sunday public talk that he is giving.

  any other time, the brother could wear a suit coat with a different pair of pants and not be counseled for it.. another dumb idea is that you cannot date a person unless you seriously might marry them.

  if you're on a date, you were supposed to always have a chaperone and holding hands might not be allowed as well as sitting together.. what other dumb rules and ideas can you add?.

  Maybe he's in Warwick, waitng for his castle to be built around him.

  on oct. 22, eight brothers were released from prison in turkmenistan by presidential amnesty.

  (see 2014 yearbook, p. 31) the ninth brother is still imprisoned, but it is hoped that he will be released shortly.

  some were already in prison for three or more years and had been severely mistreated.
