by kairos intoday is the day.. i was baptized as one of jehovah's witnesses on march 25th 1989.disfellowshipped for admitted apostasy today, september 10th 2015.. what an amazing story we all share.
how did we get involved with this group and think this was the best way of life?.
i asked my wife to stay home from the meeting tonight and spend the evening with me.she is.... we celebrated our 19th wedding anniversary this past monday.. i must admit, i never saw any of this coming, but it couldn't have come sooner.i'm free of all the fake friendships.

Could "this generation" inspire a new "1975 debacle"?
by Island Man ini think that it's possible that they're getting ready to issue a new end time date insinuation like they did with 1975. now i know what some of you are probably thinking: why would they be so stupid as to repeat such a mistake, knowing what happened in 1975?
well here're two reasons why i think they could do it:.

i'm not da'd or df'd, so this most certainly could end in a dramatic confrontation.

It is sinking in, but the reality is... Nothing will change.
The last few hold-out JWs will now join in on the loving shunning.

So, everything played out pretty much as expected. No surprises.
The Geoffrey Jackson testimony that led the Royal Commission to proclaim the JWs a "captive religion" was very appropriate to my situation.
They will hunt you down if they can...

I should have just DA'd instead of stepping down as a servant.
Would have been so much easier.
On the other hand, I have become the most notorious exJW in Napa's history.
Possibly the only one DF'd for admitted apostasy!!I hope some people start researching the ORG as a result.

I have decided to just let it go.
For my wife's sake.
No more action on my part.
They will make the announcement to a small group of older folks and absolutely nothing will change in my life except no more annoying JW elder calls or visits.That's really what I have wanted all along for the last few years.
Anyway, this topic serves as a permanent record of how "loving shepherds of the flock" treat good people.

How many mistakes can you find comparing the first letter from Ray?I find it amusing that this man can witch hunt me out while covering for known illegal citizen and unlicensed Ca contractor "Victor Moreno" as a publisher in good standing even though I mentioned this to all of the local elderz and two circuit bozos.
They figured ignoring the "problem" is the better way to go.
Hell, I don't think Ray ever got his citizenship.He's a Canadian that regularly border hops to take advantage of cheap health care. Paying back Ceaser's things and all.

Baby steps taken with a grain of salt
by Israel Ricky Gonzales inseeing how my jw wife nearly lost it when i woke up to ttatt and was df'd just over a year ago, she has been showing cracks in her armor.. 1. she has stopped pioneering to resume her good-paying career, working full-time.. 2. she suggested marriage counseling.. 3. she suggested going to a latin rap concert at a casino for our anniversary.. 4. when we reconciled recently and began living together as a family again, she agreed to alternate weeks of jw activity with the kids, one week doing the jw thing with her and the next week not doing the jw thing with me .
5. she hasn't had perfect attendance at meetings or for field service since she started working full-time.
just last night, she skipped meeting to help co-workers prepare food for an employee appreciation luncheon held today.
