The big question I have is how do the JWs not see this?
I believe stubbornness play a big role. ( and denial )
i don't have all the details of their new "service year" numbers, but i have read enough on jwn to state my opinion pretty strongly.. memorial attendance for 2015 was down.while they kept saying they were going to build a bunch of new kingdom halls, and everybody is still in recovery from watchtower taking all the local money away, they say pretty much that there isn't enough money to build new kingdom halls.putting gb members on the videos at jw .
org has allowed people to really put a face and personality to these guys and remove the mystery of how they should be such deeply spiritual serious men.
instead they see silly thoughts about tight pants and, really everything that comes out of lett's mouth is delivered ultra-goofy, along with the money reports.. the gb lost credibility a little more with every new light that shone down, with the strangest one being "overlapping generation.

d. trump or h. clinton and why.. i would vote for gun slinging trump..
Trump's personality is questionable, but no other candidates have what it takes to do anything new or different. ( like enforcing current American Federal law regarding immigration ).
The current policies do nothing except throw taxpayer money at criminals...
If you don't think entering another country illegally is NOT a crime, don't bother replying.
One of the things that helped me first wake up from the JWs was the rewards for bad behavior by illegals. I remember a part being given about a family that toured Bethel. Such a great trip. blah, blah.
Making a positive example of the criminal is hypocrisy and it infuriates me.
i always enjoyed being kind.
when someone genuinely needed a hand or what not, it felt good to help family or friends.. i don't really miss them anymore.
i faded over two years ago, so they long ago shunned me.i think about them less and less and have even forgotten some names.i did enjoy some of the friendships and the association.
The human experience really is something else!
I read the replies on our topics and it rings true to my own experiences.
I can't quite figure out the reason why anyone would want to be part of any group that practices shunning. Any ideas?

Thanks Flipper and 3rdgen.
I really look forward to the next time we can visit.
The BMW came and I passed it along to someone else that could really use it for $1k.

I sure do enjoy all the replies. It burns me up that these ones forget all the nice things we do and cast you out at just a whiff of "sin".
Check out this car:
I personally restored this myself for my wife. We eventually got something else.
There is an elder in my old hall ( Oak Knoll in Napa ) that fell into hard times.
He was a builder that I used to contract with in construction. He went from expensive cars, house, etc to living in a motorhome with his wife in his parent's barn. Sad situation and I could have been there myself if I had bought a home when all my friends were trying to convince me...
Anyway, I GAVE that BMW to that couple when they had no car. No strings attached.
The deal was, they could use it indefinitely, just not sell it. When they were done, It was returned to me.
He was one of the elders on the phone on conference call before I received my "invitation" to receive loving counsel. Very ironic as the elderz last name is Council...
I don't regret being kind. Not ever. It just stings when this is the thanks you get.
Gallery of the BMW restoration for any motor heads out there ( like me ).
PM me for the link.
over on the silentlambs facebook site is a copy of a document that purports to be an order by the service depart to destroy files relating to child molestation cases: https://www.facebook.com/silentlambs/photos/a.571978169529812.1073741826.144752662252367/970409503020008/?type=3&theater.
have any of you seen this?
is this a real document or bogus?.
This is a big deal and I have to be confident that all of the proper authorities are on this trail.
The subpoena and default guilty verdict over child abuse files and the subsequent $12.5M ruling out of San Diego involving GB tool Losch shows they are on the run.

I started making new friends back in 2004, so I still can do nice things for people that matter.

I DID enjoy some of the friendships and the association. I loved many of them over the last 25 years.
I'm OK with that part.
What troubles me is that, I would still help these folks if they needed me.
They would rather suffer.
Bitter, stubborn and sad.
Stupid cult
with all the evidence stacked against them on child abuse issues, why do you think they are still refusing to play ball with the authorities?
why not put their hands up & say "we got a problem, we need help to change our medieval policies, we need advise on how to conduct our affairs in away that is in the victims best interests".. do you think that it is blatant, selfish pride.
the risk of losing money & struggling as a consequence, or they truly believe that jehovah is protecting them & by admitting they have acted in this inconceivable way would bring reproach on his name?.
I agree, they "really think" that god will step in and rescue them with "Harm-you-gettin' ", so they can act like we all saw. Unprepared, uninterested, lying and acting above the law.
They do not cooperate until they are forced to. Sound familiar?
maths is not my strong point when the borg stop printing 52 million magazines from next year if the mags cost 5 cents each how much money will they be saving
I sure would love to see the scan of that first article.
