i watched the bunker videos again and noticed something strange.
even though none of the characters had actually been disloyal to the org when commended for their loyalty they all say "it wasn't always that way".
it was always that way, none of them had actually sinned!
I think trying to show our still-in JWs this video series is very important.
Watching the videos in private with time to think about the content is a much better environment than sitting amongst clapping JWs that think this is the best thing ever.
It could be the difference between waking up or not.
i don't really engage in doctrinal discussions about jw's anymore.
they seem to say some pretty crazy stuff.
but i have read some threads discussing doctrinal changes and how watchtower is really out of ideas and money at the same time.
I think the WTS will claim the "attack of the Assyrian" when they get ousted from Russia..
Or was it the "King of the North"? "Gog"?...
"Demon Princes"?

i think the "happy" dance bethel video is the best thing to come out of bethel in 100 years.
sure many were told off for this.
i cant believe so many were convinced to go alittle "worldly.
i've been awake now for a good while.
about a year.
in that year i've done a lot of soul searching and thinking about god and religion etc.... as i'm sure most all of us have who've left this cult.
Coming up on three years away from the JWs for me.
No regrets in that department.
We all wonder what's next.
Certainly, the WT portrayal of 'paradise' is NOT attractive.
Can you even imagine living in the endless loop of 'listening, obeying and being blessed?'
It would become everlasting boredom.

halls being sold off.. congregations sharing halls.. society owned buildings being sold off.. video pertitioning for money only last year to fund a new building.. bethelites reduced.. missionaries sent back home.. young members leaving.. long time members discovering the history and leaving.. how long do you think this religion has left?
i cant see it being here in another 100 years.

Actually close all the KHs and branches.

i thought of this lastnight in light of these new assembly videos.
we have all seen posts about the comparison with the movie matrix but i think it's in reverse, here's what i mean.
the jw is in the matrix and yes are the batteries for the machine but instead of thier minds being all fun and happy and life being normal they are the ones being chased by the machines living in zion and thinking thier going to die at any moment.
And the judicial committees made up of agents...
but still, they ask for more at every opportunity.
