  I yelled at dubs today ( again )

  so i roll up to the job site and looky there, two uber pioneer dubs dragging themselves down the sidewalk.

  both ladies are in there early 60's and born in.. my heart started pumping, but i had to act.i was directly across the street from them.

  i walked right to the sidewalk and said in a very loud, but not mean voice: "you can't teach overlapping generations from the bible!!

  Yes, Caves.
  
  I get upset at the sight of them, my heart races and I feel anxious.
  
  My plan is to just drop truth bombs and move along. No mocking, stalking or weirdness.
  
  I'm just some loud mouth saying things they'll never forget.
  When they hear things related to my words, they will recall them... CLEARLY.
  
  Next time they hear 'Overlapping Generation', they will remember that I told them it was not a bible teaching. They likely have already come to that conclusion or the cognitive dissonance is firing so hard they are in a trance.
  
  The material they see it in will NOT include a biblical explanation.
  No proof texts.
  They can process that as they see fit...
  
  All can say, is:
  
  If you don't like me yelling at you, stay of public while recruiting.
  I've been yelled at plenty of times while going door to door or doing street work.---
  

  A favorite from 10-15 years ago~
  
  I was trying to leave a tract or magazine with a guy pumping gas.
  He said in LOUD voice as I was walking away:
  
  "You'd have to be on ACID to believe that...
  ahh hahahahahah, ( takes breath ) hahahahahaha!!!"

  To be perfectly honest, I am very angry, bitter and heartbroken.

  This evil cult ruined my 22 year long marriage, cost me 25 years of my life and the loss of a handful of very good people.
  
  Everyone is different and I choose to yell.
  
  The bigger question is how it effected them and how many dubs they told.
  They will never forget that.
  
  What would they actually say? Future assembly experience:
  
  "He yelled at us, in tongues, and we were scared. He had us cornered on a porch so we prayed to Jehovah right then and there. The demonic apostate could no longer see us, so he went back to work confused..."

  I've known both these two for at least 20 years. Worked in service with both of them on many occasions.
  
  They were stunned and speechless.
  They just stared at me and processed what just happened.
  True deer in the head lights moment.
  I turned and walked away.

  A moment later, I came back out and leaned on the front of my truck in the driveway and watched as they pioneer strutted up to another empty house.

  Then a second bomb was lobbed: "1914 was the generation that would never pass away... They have all died!!"
  
  They were uncomfortable when I said this as they were stepping onto another front porch.
  I could see them mumbling as they were knocking. They must have been on that step for two or three minutes and knocked three separate times.
  
  I felt bad for them and semi ashamed of myself.
  Oh well, it happened...

  Adding insult to injury when the WT kicks out a congregation from their hall

  not only does the organization confiscate the hall the congregation owns.

  but then the former congregants are told to continue to pay for utilities and they are still responsible for upkeep and maintenance.

  so they still have to cut the grass etc.

  Do any of you remember the KHs getting a boost in attendance for a few weeks? I do.
  Such urgency.
  
  I guess I wasn't sad at the time, because I was expecting like JWs today, that most would die at Armageddon anyway...

  translatedit was when i was around ten years old that i noticed the other kids did not receive the jw style physical abuse like i did.some people use belts, power cords.

  my mother had two types of belts and let me choose between “narrow belt” and “wide belt”.

  The more I read of experiences and hear first hand the abuse that exists in this cult, the more I hope something can be done.
