  once i left ,i was done.

  in over 10 years i didn't return except for my mother's funeral.

  did you ever re enter the kh after you left?.

  Never will go back.
  Not for my still in wife's family memorials or even hers.
  
  I could never go back knowing what I now know.
  I can't even imagine how it would feel to have all the JWs that know me in one place staring at me and shunning. Too horrible to contemplate.
  
  I don't want to see the hate and judgement in their eyes.

  How many do you figure are converted through the door to door ministry?

  i regular pioneered for 2 years and never have actually converted anyone through the door to door work, in fact, i only knew a few individuals that joined this way.

  most were born-in or at least had some type of family influence.

  i had several bible studies but they all got cold feet when things got serious and potential baptism was discussed.

  The "circle" of the earth

  a fair bit of time was spent discussing the (one) scripture in the bible that "proves" that when the bible touches on scientific subjects, it is absolutely correct.

  this was at the most recent clam meeting this past week.

  from isaiah, the reference to the "circle" of the earth.

  I had the opportunity to perform on trombone with the local college orchestra on May 17 2015, just before they publicly executed me in front of family and friends.

  It was a life changing experience, for sure.

  Will YOU Ever Leave The Watchtower Org.?

  there is usually a metamorphosis that takes place for a person to leave the jehovah's witness religion.

  most people do not just up and go simply because they realize this could not be the truth.

  it often takes time.. for those that go to meetings or engage in the ministry, will you forever continue doing these things, knowing that it is all bs?

  Recovery is not easy, but well worth the effort for freedom's sake.

  Former Elder insights on recent Child Abuse Cases & changes in the Org

  this former elder, was briefly featured on pbs segment about child abuse among jehovah's witnesses.

  in this youtube interview, he is asked about some of his experiences in the org from 1971 to the present.. at about 16:10 he starts telling his story about his involvement with trey bundy, and how he got to know jonathan kendrick, from the candace conti case.. for some reason, this video is starting 15 minutes in, and i can't get the link to start at zero.... you can always rewind ;-).
