I found this quote from the article disturbing

She says: “I feel happy to see my spiritual children growing up. Even if I had children of my own, I doubt that they would be closer to me than those I have helped to learn the truth. They treat me as though I were their natural mother, discussing with me their joys and problems and asking for my advice. They write letters, and we visit one another.

Thats crazy talk, how can you not be closer to your own flesh and blood, your own children that you brought into the world !!

2017 JW Conventions

i'm noticing trends that they are becoming fewer and fewer.

Theres one at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto - Never seen that before.

But I have only been living in Canada for 9 years.

I can only imagine how much that costs to rent out !!

New JW Talk Show - "The Inside Story"

has anybody seen the new half-hour jw talk show called the inside story?

the pilot is included in part 2 of the latest gilead graduation program, and they said more will likely come.. basically, it's probably one of the most cringeworthy programs to ever come out of jw broadcasting.

it has all the tropes: an opening monologue, a studio audience, a live band, and guests that move down the couch to the left as the next guest is introduced.

Maddox v Integro USA, Inc, et al

i know that this is old but going through and posting about every lawsuit that i can find in this decade with watchtower either good or bad if it has not already been posted.

this lawsuit was brought in the federal district court for the eastern district of louisana.

it involves a family whose mother had died at a district convention in 2011. the mother, patsy, was descending stairs at the convention which was held at the mitchell center in mobile, alabama when she fell and was fatally injured.

Doe, et al v National Union Fire Insurance Company of Pittsburgh, PA.

this is a lawsuit brought by watchtower against an insurance company.

the company provided four insurance policies between 1989 and 1993. the policies were there to pay out any liability damages that would arise during that time from any damages caused by elders and mss advice.

there were a number of exceptions that were spelled out in the policy which included that of a sexual nature and that if an elder or ms violated a law then the payout would not qualify.

What makes me sick is that they are so sneaky with all their different corporations using anything legal to wriggle out of any sticky situations they find themselves in, they use legalise to avoid obeying the superior authorities which stand in place by God.
