Things could be so much different in the cong if they would only allow women to be elders too... but of course that will never happen!

Withdrawing community support in the congs
by purrpurr ini've noticed in the past 10 years that the social support that used to be available in the congs, a shoulder to cry on, elders to help with family/marriage issues these seem to have been purposely withdrawn.
counsel is even heard from the platform that the elders are not there to help people with their problems.. so first in the 80s-90s they take away the congregation get to getters and social events and now they seem to be going one step further in taking away the emotional support for people too.. this will take away an aspect that i'm sure was keeping alot of people in the borg, the community support.
if that's not there and its just about meetings and ministry how many will start to get their emotional support elsewhere?.

Ps. Steve2 that poor woman! And those sisters who went tattling to the elders about possible wrong doing are sick, and the fact that their minds jumped straight there says far more about them than it does that poor sister.
I hope it started the wheels in her head turning

Yes I agree, but it doesn't take much to reduce a zealous jw to a lukewarm one... changed of personal circumstances, unkindness from other jws and boom. Suddenly the former zealous one realises how people get treated when they're not in vogue. From there it's a slippery slope.
I really think the gb are so terrified of apostates that they are shooting themselves in the foot when it comes to how they treat the flock

Maybe the gb expect the r&f to be robots now? But the thing is, humans need a community and support. And if they don't get that in the cong.... then the r&f will start to go elsewhere for their emotional needs

They used to be able to claim that the congregation was like a warm loving family. But that's so not the case now, so where's their usp? Where's the attraction for joining? Very very very few people are sitting at home wishing they knew their bible better (!) And I reckon none are sitting at home wishing they had to go out early on their day off, in a cold winter morning to knock on their neighbours doors and try to tell them stuff they don't want to hear.

I know of several jws parents who refused to vaccinate their kids cos they suspected the vaccine was made from blood! Yep....
And I know of several first aid situations in the kh where the zealous homeopathy sister took charge over the trained first aider who was trying to render assistance.

Cancer in Animals
by Normalfulla inwe were taught sickness and death is a result of the sin inherited from adam and eve, so why do animals get cancer?
they are supposedly still as big j intended, so therefore cancer is a creation by the big fella himself?.
just an exercise for one's who believe in the whole bible story thing.. (not me)... any others anomalies you can think of ?

Yes but exactly where in the bible does it say that?
Hint.... it doesn't

Benisus 3 v 39
"Then did the Angel of the Lord appear to jup-jup and the two female monkeys that he was currently boning, 40 and the Angel of the Lord proceeded to say to jup-jup 'for eating of the forbidden fruit (that exsisted for some reason) and heeding the deception of the evil snake, now shall you and your kind shall be cursed forever! From the tree tops shall you swing and upon the yellow penis shaped fruit shall you eat, for from bananas you were formed and to bananas you shall return!' 41 But jup-jup shook his head and proclaimed 'this sh*ts bananas!' 42 And the Angel of the lord did drive the monkeys from the garden of Eden with his hot throbbing sword (which is totally not an euphemism at all) 43 but when the second female of jup-jups boning got to see the sword she stopped running and 44 at once the Angel of the Lord struck her upon her private parts and her bottom at once turned blue, 45 and have not the bottoms of the monkeys been blue ever since?"
Here endth the lesson, so we see here brothers that the monkeys sinned just as much as the humans, evidently the other species of animals also sinned as well.
