Breakfast of champions: answer at your question: The BITE model, is a model , based on research made by others, during the years.. if you are doing your research, and you are doing a rational analys, you really understand what I am meaning.. It is a self fabbricated model, that in every new book is changing something..I have nothing against Hassan, but my conclusion about his model is to call it a self fabbricated model based on research of others, and basedon his personal experience during his interventions.(always even succesfull?)is my conclusions based on my rational analys, made by a lot of research by me, and other professionals, who are also expert in the Cult Issue.. A good sales marketing strategy isn't it? Making money on a smart way is not the only privilege reserved at cults in these days...

On JW survey I have red that John Cedars is giving advice on what could be a good appraoch for winning a loved one back from a destructive cult.. Other sources avaible are also giving good advice on these issue: for example: What to do if your friend or loved one is recruited into a cult: practical help and Advice for winning them back..:spotlightministries.org.uk. And these is not the only source avaible.. It's good and interesting to read a lot of balanced material avaible in a lot of books...Ciaooo Enzo..

witness my fury: I know that you and others don't like my criticism..And like I also have mentioned in other posts, you are not forced, to read, or react on my posts.. But there are members who are interested to listen to another opinion...and I can understand that if you are hurt by a destructive cult you need to search proffesional help.. (a good psychiatrist who is well informed about destructive cults), rather than starting a cruisade against JW's or others.. It could bee that there are other psychological factors involved that contribute your search in the wrong direction..(cults), that is your work to figure it out...
that is my message to give here, and yes, I have read Hassans Books , but I am not really convinced about his BITE model.. For me it remains a sales marketing strategy, a lot of these figures have find a way to make money ( ask the charges involved by an intervention), and selling books..

Tj curioso: can people not see, or evaluate the risks involved by joining a destructive cult? Yes if you can't read, or you are mentally unstable. ore children, or even adolescents...but if you are not in these category, you can make a lot of research these days, a lot of information, is accessible, or avaible, about destructive cults.. pretenting that undue influence is the only cause of being involved in destructive cults, is deniying, your personal responsability. At the end, we have made this choice.. We did something wrong...we made a bad decision.. reconizing our part in it, would empowered us to be more carefully in the future..
