  It tells the story behind that song. I NEVER knew this!! The jingle came first. Then the song was re-written and released as a single because so many people were requesting DJs to play the Coke song.

  I never knew that either till a show that was out some time last year. It was all about the top commercials of all time and that coke one was number one. I believe it was a well-known pop group that did the song as well back in the 60's or 70's

  I remember as a kid it would come out at Christmas time and I would just dream of having a x-mas tree and .........on a better note, I am making up for it now...

  sorry if this has been discussed to death but......... now that i'm not sending $$$$$$ to ny i suddenly find i can treat myself to guilty pleasures.

  i bought an 80gb ipod (which i love dearly) and was just wondering if anyone else has succumb to this "fetish"?

  any tips or extras i might need to know about?

  Sorry, I have no advice for you....I am useless with this new tech stuff....what happened to the CD wachman and you just stick a cd in???

  I can tell you that I have bought 3 iPods in the last year and have no idea how to even turn the damn thing on......I have bought them for my kids and the third one I bought was an upgrade for more gig-a-bite...(lol)...

  all I can tell you is the bigger the gig-a-bite, the better ( according to the kids)...

  hi guys,.

  sorry to burden you all with this but i really have no one that i want to talk about this with, i'm afraid that i will burst into tears and wont be able to stop if i call any of my friends and tell them what's going on.

  my little sister has been ill with a fever for three weeks, her doctor kept telling her it was just a bad case of the flu and that she had an ear infection, he gave her antibiotics and sent her home.

  uh, hey guys, i was kinda wonderin' what you all think of a woman for president here in 2008?

  i like the idea myself... in another thread i said "i noticed that i found myself more sorrowful for military funerals then i used to be, and i am finally starting to see christmas as an act of love, and not so much a disobedience to god's ways.

  i often thought of how jesus took the pharisee's traditions and explained how they were evil, because of how they were being used.

  Back from the cold north ...

  we just got back from a 3 week vacation in canada.

  we did the tourist thing travelling round the rockies - they were still there, right where we left them last time!

  Glad to hear your hoilday went well..Beautiful there eh???.I was just there last month as well.....yes, the bears are BIG out there....They are great to watch at a distance...

  my son is going to school there next June for his tool & die trade...They are crying for help or trades men out west...They were paying folks 13 bucks an hour with full benifits to work at a Tim Hortons....Had I not been with my son last month, those westerners would have kept my son...

  Banff or Jasper would be a great potential place to live in....

  Soccer Moms/Dads -- These are the morons who yell "Down in Front!" to me at Rapids games, and "What's your problem?" when I ref. Good thing I carry cards for the latter.

  Yeap, there the ones I hate....

  My boys play all kinds of sports...Hockey, soccer,basketball, volley ball, boxing, skateboarding,snowboarding and BMX biking, out of all of them, the best ones are the ones when THEY are NOT reffing....They go through some brutal sh*t when they make a call the parents dont like....it is actually pathetic watching them screem at a reff trying to just make a few bucks and contribute to the leagues...
