You just have no idea how much this job really means to me.

To be able to give a helping hand to others that genuinely really appreatiate you is priceless to me. That is one of the reasons that I started volunteering there.I really wanted to give something back to the community and look what was given back to me...All I can say is, what goes around, will come back around...

i had the pleasure of working with reggie and his wife sara on several community projects when they lived in green bay and he was an awesome human being.

very sad indeed Xena....very young to have happen and on a hoilday as well....my prayers and thougths to the family, as I know you are a BIG fan Xenawarrio.....

Mungo, no disrespect to you either but, I do believe there was a thread started as well for the Indonesian Quake as well....I am sure others have not forgottten them as well....I think maybe Xena just wanted to express her saddness about one of her favorite teams/players...

I am tickled pink about it. I have been out of work for a while now(3 years almost) due to my back injury and a company that I voleenter for, offered me a postion at collage wages!! Usally you need a degree for a Direct Care Worker but they looked at me as a mature person and I bonded with the clients so well that they called and left me a message on my phone Christmas eve and said "we would like to offer you a full or part time postion here" they have been so kind to me there. For two reaason I am shocked I got the offer.....

1) You need a collage degree

2) I have modification when I work there becasue of all the heavey lifting with the clients.

I am so happy about this and wanted to share my happiness with you all....I will be so happy to finally have a job that I get satisfaction from.They love you uncondionally and donot expect anything in return but a smile...

I will even get a damn good pay for doing something that i enjoy so much......

the details of who to send a gift to will be getting pm'd to you all either friday afternoon or saturday morning!

according to the information i've found online the last posting day for standard parcels is dec 11th for usa and december 15th for the uk/europe, so you should all have plenty of time to select and send a gift, although sending sooner rather than later is prefered.

can everyone taking part post on this thread what things they like, what their interests are etc so that the person who is buying a gift for you has some idea what to get you.

I already posted on another thread about what I got..( loads of stuff)..My secret santa was Sassy.....I believe there is 2 threads going...anyways, does anyone have contact with senselessly sane?

I was her secret santa and sent her gift out over a month ago and have not heard from her...I paid for extra postage as well for her to get the package in plenty of time...

I just worry now because the last time she posted was when she was giving suggestions of what she would like for x-mas....If you in touch with her, could you please pm me to let me know if she is alright??

I forget who posted about the media having a better idea on his where abouts, but I agree....
