Aztec watches that show religously, and I don't know why. It's like "Scrubs" only not as funny or likeable.

How did you feel, when you missed your 1st Memorial?
by JH ini remember going to each memorial even when i was inactive.
i felt that i had to go to atleast that meeting.. then one year, i was sick on that day, and didn't go to the memorial.
it was a funny feeling to miss the most important day of the year, as a jw would call it.. but i got used to it, when i missed my 2nd and 3rd memorial..

Tired...I refereed three games that day, and noticed the full moon. "Oh, yeah, Memorial..." I remembered also when I saw a Jewish family in my apartment building have theirs over for Passover.

LT: Close...Put yourself under the reign of Cromwell, and you have it about right.
In this part of the world, This is what wins elections:
Fighting against Gays
Banning Abortion
Denying the Separation of Church and State
Teaching Sex Ed while mentioning abstinance as the only form of birth control
Stopping stem cell research
Saying you want to make America a Christian Nation based on Fundamentalist Teachings.

Mostly, I mean the former. Keep in mind, I live on the Colorado Plains, and much of our political leadership are fundamentalists, from here to Kansas, Texas and Iowa. These are the people trying to teach creationism in schools.

After seeing him on SNL, I wasn't at all impressed with his standup, but he is a gifted comic actor. I still fondly remember the late 80s/early 90's: Carlin as the elder statesman, Sam Kinison, Dennis Miller in his prime, Bill Hicks, Chris Rock just getting started.

This could be repeated soon with a St. Louis (Mine) and Detroit (Hers) World Series.

One area where religion does go above and beyond in stifling humanity is its demand for both total obedience and opposition to any evidence to the contrary. Religion now is, especially in my country, the core oppostion to scentific research and advancement. There's more religion has to answer for than just wars.
