  do you remember being with a group of witnesses looking at some cute little animal and everyone saying, "oooh!

  isn't jehovah sooo wooooonderful!!!

  " of course, most other christians are just as prone to utter such insipid, sugary and idiotic expressions.. the cats and dogs that we often dote on are the result of hundreds of years of breeding out undesirable traits, but their original ancestors survived by catching and tearing to pieces cute, cuddly little animals who are stricken with terror as they are hunted.

  Exactly.

  It makes you wonder when the Bible states that supposedly before the “original sin” in the garden of Eden, and then after Christ’s Thousand Year Reign, even none of the animals did, or will do, any “harm nor cause any ruin in all my holy mountain.” (Isaiah 65:25)

  It’s so obvious to anyone with a thumbnail of a brain that when you look at all those menacing, razor-sharp teeth of the countless varieties of fish and sharks, not to mention all the mammals (i.e., lions!), those teeth are for catching – and killing – prey.

  In this regard, either God is Walt Disney, or the logical, scientific processes of evolution are actually involved here.

  i was walking out of the store and i passed a former jw associate of 20+ years.

  "keith"he was an elder, got df'd, lost his wife, got reinstated and last i heard started pioneering!so i see him as i'm walking to my parking spot.. i stop, look him straight in the face and yell from 20 feet away, "you're in a cult.

  you're in a cult, dude!".

  That’s a good idea to at least let JWs know why you chose to leave the organization (cult).

  It’s kind of like spanking a dog that has chewed up your books. Such discipline must be done immediately after the misdeed in order for the dog to connect it with its act so as to know exactly what it did wrong.

  Similarly, it’s advantageous to divulge to JWs you happen to meet exactly why you left the cult so that they will know that there is, in fact, a very valid and logical reason.

  Lunar Eclipses and 607/587 BCE as the date of Jerusalem´s Fall

  i am doing a very extensive document, it is a work in progress, that details how to know, just using a list of eclipses in the 6th and 7th century bce, excel, and knowing how to read lunar eclipse graphs and maps, that jerusalem fell in 587 b.c.e., and not 607 b.c.e.

  I don’t think that you understand. It is Mr. Randy Wall himself who is seeking legal remedy for the tangible losses to his real estate business arising from the prohibition by the congregation of any kind of contact between Mr. Wall and his clientele – which clientele happens to be coerced and blackmailed by the JW congregation into absolute shunning of Mr. Wall, even to the extent of cutting legal business proceedings.

  You know, I thought that I would have definitely have been divinely executed by Jehovah by at least the early 1990s.

  I was born in 1996 and baptized around 1982.

  Now, however, after thoroughly researching TTATT, I have obviously come to realize that what I was baptized into was anything but “the truth.”

  My baptism, like so many other JWs, was coerced in that it was the expectation of my parents. Saying “no” is never a viable option for JW children.

  So, what does JW baptism really mean for anyone? Well, not much according to the current pertinent statistics!

  according to the bible, the biblical ark of the covenant contained the ten commandments tablets, but some israeli archaeologists have a different view.. haaretz media site publishes the story:.

  Isn’t it quite interesting that the Hebrew God Yaweh had a divine consort, or wife, named Asherah.

  It has been becoming quite clear to me that this Yaweh (or “El”) God is really just a Canaate/Baalite/Semitic mythological bull god, whose wife is Asherah. According to Egyptian mythology, Isis married her brother, Osiris, and bore a son, Horus. This only proves to me that the “gods” of the Old Testament were simply figments of ancient mythology.

  The famous quantum physicist Stephen Hawking said that God is unnecessary for the origination of the universe.

  My position is that whatever the real truth may be, the stark obviousness is that NONE of the world’s religions are rooted in any kind of actual reality. Religion is a projection of the human psyche.

  Indeed, ALL religions are, as Sigmund Freud would say, merely a figment of human imagination, which seeks a reassuring father figure.
