  Random thought: Today is the 45 anniversary of my baptism

  i was on the bus this morning and this thought came up while i was playing candy crush.

  happy baptism birthday to me.

  i was a mere child when baptized.

  You know, I thought that I would have definitely have been divinely executed by Jehovah by at least the early 1990s.

  I was born in 1996 and baptized around 1982.

  Now, however, after thoroughly researching TTATT, I have obviously come to realize that what I was baptized into was anything but “the truth.”

  My baptism, like so many other JWs, was coerced in that it was the expectation of my parents. Saying “no” is never a viable option for JW children.

  So, what does JW baptism really mean for anyone? Well, not much according to the current pertinent statistics!

  in the last week i have had three visits from brothers.

  so 6 witnesses in all as they come in pairs.

  now considering i used to go to the meetings, sit by myself and literally no one talked to me - ever - why the concern all of a sudden?.

  according to the bible, the biblical ark of the covenant contained the ten commandments tablets, but some israeli archaeologists have a different view.. haaretz media site publishes the story:.

  the holy ark was likely kept in jerusalem for much less time than the bible tells us.

  Isn’t it quite interesting that the Hebrew God Yaweh had a divine consort, or wife, named Asherah.

  It has been becoming quite clear to me that this Yaweh (or “El”) God is really just a Canaate/Baalite/Semitic mythological bull god, whose wife is Asherah. According to Egyptian mythology, Isis married her brother, Osiris, and bore a son, Horus. This only proves to me that the “gods” of the Old Testament were simply figments of ancient mythology.

  The famous quantum physicist Stephen Hawking said that God is unnecessary for the origination of the universe.

  My position is that whatever the real truth may be, the stark obviousness is that NONE of the world’s religions are rooted in any kind of actual reality. Religion is a projection of the human psyche.

  Indeed, ALL religions are, as Sigmund Freud would say, merely a figment of human imagination, which seeks a reassuring father figure.

  This is why the Elders should always call the WT society or personal attorney before ever talking to the Police.

  this is probably going to unnerve some on here or make them uncomfortable.we always hear, why didn't the elders call the cops first instead of the wt society (lawyers/attorneys).

  in cases of child molestation or other incidents.this video is why and if you're smart you'll follow their example.i'm not taking the wtbts side on this just so you know in advance because i do not agree with the two witness rule at all.but be that as it may,this is by far the best lawyer/attorney and law professor i've ever heard on the subject of why you should never talk to the police and always let an investigation be made through counsel.this is why in the usa you have the right to remain silent when talking to police/authorities but even more important what the fifth amendment really entails and why it would behoove us all to understand what can happen even if you are totally innocent and have nothing to hide but how things can go horribly wrong.if i ever have to go to court for anything i can only hope that i got a lawyer as competent as this one the vid is approx 46 minutes long but well worth investing that time because if you had to talk to a lawyer it would cost you a lot to receive what this professor covers in this.the majority is from the law professor and the remaining minutes are of a former police captain/investigator with his insights and opinions.and just to be clear, i'm not suggesting that the elders not call the police because they should in cases of child molestation but rather they better get legal advice to protect themselves so that they don't have to answer for the wtbts decisions.look how many former (ex) elders we have on sites like this one and others and i'm so happy they got free of the wt but also they didn't get in trouble by accidentally saying/doing the wrong thing.all of us can benefit by following this advice in the video and i hope you enjoy it and to know what your rights arehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d-7o9xyp7ee.

  “Chook”: “Stupid Australian women in US rang police and got shot by cops.”

  That was a very mean and unfair thing to say. This poor woman was just trying to do the right thing, and no one deserves to be murdered in cold blood like that.

  An unarmed woman in her pyjamas is obviously not a threat to anyone. That cop who did the murder was clearly malicious and evil by his actions, and both those cops have a lot to answer for in keeping all their cameras turned off.

  That news item is so disturbing that it makes me want to cry and vomit.

  Another example of the smothering and high control nature of JW husbands

  i have noticed another popular pattern of behaviour amongst witnesses in recent years.. many, and i mean lots of ones with instagram accounts have closed the wife's account, and have started a "couple's" account instead.

  also, for families.

  the children's accounts have been closed, and the husband starts a "family account".. it is mainly on the husband's device, and seemingly under his control.

  “Wake Me Up Before You Jo-Ho”: “The last straw was when the elders showed up at my parents' place with a manila envelope with print outs of my gallery. Every. Single. Outfit. was scrutinized, criticized and deemed "unfit for a sister". The locations of the pictures were highlightea , along with the time stamps (22:13 at a bar in the city? Is that Christian? Holding a drink on a Saturday at 15:47? Should Witnesses be day-drinking? This leads to drunkenness by the evening!).”

  The police should be contacted about this serious invasion of privacy! This is unacceptable in this modern age of basic human rights and dignity.

  As it is, the federal govereveryone should ensure that everyone has fair and equal access to fundamental justice and liberty. Otherwise, why want to be be here?

  Worldly people

  as i have come to see i have way more friends at school than my kingdom hall but if i get asked about school and i say something about my friends or ask to hang out with my friends to my aunt she gives me a talk about not to like worldly people to much.. for example i ask to go to my friends house (that is a girl)i have known her from 1st grade and my aunt gets mad at me saying what if she says i raped her or something but she lets me go by my self with brothers to hang out if i want but theres a chance i will get raped there to.. read my other posts to understand my story .

  When I was about eight years old, our neighbour’s girl of around the same age (eight) used to show me her private parts, purely of her own volition. She actually initiated wanting me to investigate such parts of hers manually. But, believe it or not, it was completely “innocent” (as per both our ages).

  As a matter of fact, afterward I asked my mother how the seeds (genetic material) get from the male to the female. . . . . Boy, was I clueless! (And what a wasted opportunity.)
