I think the biggest problem is that the Elders are under a very big Watchtower microscope. As a result they soon become so concerned about their image that they forget how to help folks.

as i mentioned before in another thread, my dub aunt, along with several other witnesses, told me that they were specifically told that the governing body let it be known that tract work would trigger the beginning of the end by infuriating the other religions and somehow causing the governments to "turn on babylon the great".

this was supposed to start before the end of this year.

one thing i mentioned is that they were smart enough this time, not to put anything down in writing, but simply let it get around by "word of mouth".

If they would say, "I am not a Jehovah Witness" I might believe them. Sorry but "I am not a Jehovah's Witness" is a dead give away! They know the nomenclature!

i am already thinking of ideas.

my sister had an online relationship with a man from holland (they are now married in the us) anyhow, they would send eachother packages and the coolest things he would send was different foods from there... cookies the us doesn't have, chocolate spread for toast.... this is my first gift exchange since i was a kid, so anyone have some ideas?

( is this kosher to ask?

I like T-shirts size XL. Maybe a T-shirt from some little known place or tourist spot where you live assuming you are not in Ohio.

I love coffee mugs, same with the mug something from a little know place or tourist spot in your area.

If you are in Ohio, anything with the Ohio State Buckeyes on it.

I love Snoopy stuff, Snoopy mug or T-shirt would be great.

CD of Christian music the Gaithers are my favorite, I like any kind of praise and worship music.
