I hope the lines always stay open. I do know they don't tell me everything. They have their own things they think I don't get. I just let them know I am there. Always have been always will be. I hope they know this.
As far as someone talking to him about what he said, I was told I should not have stopped the study. I should have given him a second chance. The elder was on his side. That's why I was posting here. Is this normal for witnesses? Or did I get one to study with my boys who was whacked?

I did not mean that I have not talked to my son about sex. But I do not see the reason to explain how and why people have sex with sheep and cows. I have talked to my son about safe sex, and the like. I do however take offense to a man, who has been studying with my son 2 months, and talking about this. With out my knowledge either. This man also had studies with two of my other sons who are 12 and 9. Should I just let him say to them what ever he wants? Is this what is ok? Would you let someone new to your family talk to your children like that? That is a matter to be talked about by parents to children.
No I am not a "hysterical Mom" but one who believes that the child's mom or dad needs to be informed what is being told to the child.

Badger, Why would anyone want to give give kids nighmares? Unless they are sick people. Jesus loved the children. *sigh* I have learned a lot in the last 3 months, I mean, I can see that they do that. It just isn't right.
Phantom Stranger, I remember my mom saying the Catholic Church said give us a child until they are 7, and they will never leave. Same philosophy huh?

I forgot to add, I canceled my son's study after that. He never told me he would talk to my son about that, and I would have never allowed him too. I was furious about it. His elder knows, but I guess it is ok to talk to children like that. Just not in my house.

I have a legitimate question. Not knowing where to go, maybe you all could answer me. Are witnesses obsessed with sex? The new book out, Learn from the Great Teacher, is to be for children. Yet I find some of the wording inappropriate for children. The man studying with my 13 yo son, told him about masturbation and bestiality. Now I don't ever remember learning this as a child in another church. Why is there so much info about what you can and cannot do?

i received this at work the other day.

it was sent to myself and quite a few others who work in my department via email.. i have to say, it sounded an awful lot like a story i heard from some dubs.. i just thought it was interesting.................dubs always take everything as their own!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

My Brother Died Today

i consider all who post here as my family.we have all been hurt in some way.my brother died today.. blueblades,who has six sisters left.mom,dad,one sister and two brothers died.i'm the only man in the family now.

As a DUB did you ever see negative publicity which made you think?

i can honestly say that as a loyal(semi loyal) dub for 15 yrs i can count on one hand the amount of negative articles i saw.

i'm not sure if i tuned them out or if there just seems to be more these days.

even with all the negative publicity now, if you ask a dub they are totally unaware of it.
