  Satan Helps Dubs Look Bad

  we've recently started to get visits from varying pairs of dubs.

  i've been pretty harsh with some in the past and told them to mark me down at the hall as a "do not return", but this has not worked.

  a couple of new sisters called on me yesterday morning, so i carefully steered them towards the blood issue.

  Did you criticise/expose the WTS after leaving?

  after leaving the jws as df/ed or disass/ed were you willing to expose them for what they are to others, or were you unwilling to do so because you still felt respect for them for being the "truth"?

  I was out shopping today. I talk to the cashier. (with all these kids, I'm at the grocery store a lot) She said she had some witnesses stop by, and they talked for two hours. They are coming back tomorrow. Thank goodness there was no one behind me in line. I told her as much as I could, gave her a lot of things to ask. She said, oh no, how can they teach these things. I just told her, ask them.

  So yes, I critices and try to expose them for what they truely are. Yes, I do love the people. I love my family, I miss some of my friends. If I had it my way, they would be freed.

  When I was leaving, I thought of you all here. Had to give you a thanks.

  JW stance on birth control pills for medical reasons/sex education

  i am seeking printed info in wt literature regarding use of birth control pills (for medical reasons) by unmarried women, specifically rules or hints saying it is not ok. (there are many medical reasons to take birth control pills other than for birth control.

  ) i can't remember seeing anything in print.

  do you know if there was mention of this in the literature or in talks?

  I so understand what you are saying. When I was 16, I took myself to the local clinic and got the pill for myself. (not trying to gross anyone out here) My period would last 9-12 days, and the pain was so bad. I was not regular either. I would get it every two weeks, or every two months. Since my father was not "in the truth" my mom went to the elders, and they told her not to let me get the pill. It was wrong. I took myself, and to this day, she never found out.

  Sorry for rambling. Just wanted to let you know, others suffered because of a man's opinion. I never saw anything in writing, but just an opinion.

  this was a post in the "friends" section but i think it's important and a really good idea.. but it's gonna get washed away by other topics... .

  how about every lurker on here and all others spreading the news that unhappy jw's worldwide are to do a general boycott of all jw related activities (meetings, fs, etc) in for the entire month of february 2006. would be interesting to see what happens to the us average publishers for that month... come on just be irregular for one month!.

  My computer is in the living room. So even if they are online, doing research, some times they are tempted to look at other things, or play a game. This way, I can see what they are doing, or who they are talking to. We moved 400 miles, and some times they talk to their old friends online. But I see who they are talking to, because when it's all in one room, you can't hide much.
