Oh, I forgot one more tip. If you buy on ebay, get a different usere name for selling. This way if you buy something on there, and resell it, they will see what you paid for it. So two accounts. One for selling, one for buying.

on the serious side....joker is probably stirring up a hornest for fun...hey dont we all once in a while (i am still waiting for my thread hijacker tshirt) but i cannot tell you how many people every day i talk to that were making good money not too long ago that are on the skids looking for a decent job.
you dont have to be a slacker to be unemployed joker...yes, maybe some of us have too much time on our hands...but i have a feeling the majority of people that post a lot on this board are just really good multi-taskers.

I SURVIVED........

the weather was perfect until our last day-when it was a damp 55 degrees-the nuts got on kali river rapids 5 times and were shivering and drenched-but they were happy!
(i was happy to be nice and warm and enjoyed watching the monkeys play!).

you dont have to be a slacker to be unemployed joker...yes, maybe some of us have too much time on our hands...but i have a feeling the majority of people that post a lot on this board are just really good multi-taskers.

To be honest, it depends. It all started when my Grandpop came to live with us. I had to clean out the house he lived in since 1947. They saved everything. No one in the family wanted anything, so I got custody of it all. Well there is only so much room in my home, so I kept what was family stuff, and tried to see what would sell. So I would take an item, say a snoopy doll I found. Went and saw if it was on ebay. It was, so I posted mine. It sold, and I was happy. Also those Aunt Jemima dolls, those plastic salt and pepper or syrup containers, they sell well too.
Sometimes it is a gut feeling. I found an old plate at goodwill for $1.50, and it sold on ebay for $20. Sometimes I win, sometimes I loose.
I wish I had a fool proof plan to give you. Poke around there. See if there is something in your home you don't want, and see if it is selling on ebay. If it is, see how much. See if it is worth listing.

My brother was saying almost the same thing about our Mom. You know if we did that, we would be workers of satan, persecuting her for her beliefs. Which in turn might make it even more real for her. Which leads to more medication, which means it is more "persecution" so they need to give her more meds, on and on...........

thats work...what type of stuff do you sell?
Thanks. It seems like to much fun for work. I went from working10-16 hrs a day, to two hours a day. You name it I sell it. I go to thrift stores and look for stuff and resell it. Silverware, silver bowls, glassware, toys, car parts, comic books, baseball & football cards.
Her only problem was shipping when she had a customer outside of New England.
What was her problem? PM me, maybe I can give you some info to send her. I am in the US, but I ship worldwide. Maybe I could help a little. Let me know if I can.

I was an equipment operator until the end of my last pregnancy. That's when I found eBay. Now it is not real work, but it's real money. So I guess I don't fit into a profile. I think I am in that 3% margine of error.

my daughter came home the other night from her grandma(jw) saying that she wouldn't let her watch a show about dinosaurs on discovery channel because what they were showing is not true.

I recall bringing the teaching above to light for my classroom. I can still hear Miss. Carmichael saying. " Cassi where do you get this stuff from"? I realized years later she probably thought I was using articles from supermarket tabliods.
I am sorry, but this was way too funny. I remember using the articles when I had school reports. I would get written on my paper "use more resources" So I so understand what you mean. :-)

My address doesn't come up. That is because my number is unlisted. From what I understand, they only do this with listed numbers. I guess they feel, if it is in the phone book, they can list it. Then once you have a name and address, mapquest can give directions.
I have also tried a few different cell phone numbers, and they haven't come up yet for me. Maybe that is still a safe thing.

My Mother did not believe they existed until the Awake came out with an article about them. Up til then, she thought it was all a big scientific farce.
