  looking at the most recent wt the study article focuses on the jubilees.

  the made a separate box in the article to highlight the math behind jubilees, and i'm wondering if they're trying to get people thinking and stir up the pot without actually making a false prophecy.

  for instance: jubilees happened every 7 times 7 years.

  Anyone Tried "Sous Vide" Cooking?

  i like a nice steak but cooking one can be a little intimidating and the results hit and miss especially when it comes to getting the right temperature so getting it wrong can be an expensive mistake.

  can anyone do that "finger and thumb together to check the doneness" thing?

  i can't .... so i came across this cooking technique called "sous vide" which cooks food (in a sealed vacuum bag) in a warm water bath, even steak.

  We like our steaks quite rare. So I heat up the griddle pan on a gas ring until it's really hot. Then I drop in salted steak and cook for exactly 2 minutes each side. Then I take the pan off the ring and allow it to stand for 5 minutes.

  Yes. I stopped buying Gillette products. It's this ad - or one similar - that repels me. They may as well have just stated that men are dreadful people and have to change. BTW, I understand that Gillette's sales have slumped as a result of the ad.

  after posting on another thread it became apparent to me that it can be difficult for some ex jws to totally shake off all wt teaching , even after leaving the org.

  do you still feel guilty going into a church for a wedding or a funeral .

  can you bring yourself to celebrate birthdays or christmas .

  Nope. Nothing left over at all. A few years back I had a massive rectal bleed which required me having 6 units of blood. I didn't give it a second thought. And here I am feeling on top of the world.
