According to the Sunday Times, the problem with anti-semitism in the Labour party only reached it's present levels when Labour threw open the doors to membership of the party to anyone who could afford the £3 fee. It's rumoured that many of those new members were in fact muslims, so I guess that could explain a lot.

What REALLY defines a person as being anti-Semitic?
by The Fall Guy indoes criticism or opposition to the israeli government's zionist agenda legitimately constitute someone being branded as an anti-semite?.
is it this definition which is actually being targetted at certain members of the labour party?

My parents did the whole DF routine, as per the edict from Brooklyn. Then, when things relaxed in the late 70's and the society rescinded their hard stance, they became much more accepting. However, when the rescinding was rescinded they didn't renew the hard stance and our relationship stayed more tolerable, albeit some alcohol-fuelled disagreements occasionally surfacing much to the astonishment of my non-JW partner.
My ex-wife came from a quarrelsome Eastender type of JW family and was forever being bounced one way and then the other by her own parents and siblings. Our children from that marriage were greatly distressed by the hot-then-cold attitude of their blood relatives, so much so that when my ex died they refused to allow any of my ex's 4 siblings to attend the funeral. So in a way the disfellowshippers became the disfellowshippees. Which I guess is karma setting things straight.

The Apology Tour
by minimus ineveryone seems to be hitting the apology circuit.
if you ever said anything inappropriate or what might be considered offensive, then you must apologize.
if you possibly could have hurt someone’s feelings, you need to say sorry.

It's crap. Anyone can use the judgement of today to find fault with the acceptable activities of yesterday and then demand an apology. It's a never-ending spiral.

I believe that a monarchy is good for Britain overall. However the problems that arise seem always to involve those of the minor royals - the so called members of the Royal Family. The whole shebang needs streamlining.

Basically you've just gotta watch your carb intake to improve your health. For fellas generally, going much over 2500 carbs a day will see a weight increase unless you're very active. I love my tucker and can easily pile on weight, so I found that cutting potatoes and processed food out of my diet completely and replacing it with green vegetables has been sufficient for me to lose 9 pounds over a six month period. Plus potatoes are quite soporific, so my energy levels are now much higher.
